A transformative two-week summer programme for motivated students aged 15-18, built around the art of communication, storytelling, and public speaking. Through a blend of theory and practice, small-group collaboration, and personal coaching, participants learn to shape powerful ideas and deliver them with clarity, confidence, and presence. The experience culminates in each student presenting their own TED-style talk to a live audience, captured on video. Why choose TED Summer School? The London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) was founded in 1895 and has grown to become one of the foremost social science universities in the world. The School aims to provide students with the highest quality education in the social sciences field. LSE alumni and faculty members have been awarded 18 Nobel Prizes in economics, peace and literature, and over 40 world leaders have studied or taught at LSE. LSE Summer School is the largest programme of its kind in Europe, offering more than 100 courses from a diverse range of disciplines including business and management, accounting, finance, law, economics, international relations, and more. Courses are of the highest academic quality, based on regular LSE undergraduate courses and taught by leading LSE faculty, and are accompanied by a varied social and professional skills development programme, all delivered on our central London campus. The Middlebury College – CMRS Oxford Humanities Program offers an academically rigorous curriculum of reading seminars, field research, and Oxford’s traditional one-on-one tutorials.
