Summer Course Advanced Graphic Design - IED Florence

The Advanced Graphic Design Summer course provides you with the necessary skills and a solid understanding of the key areas of graphic design. You'll increase your expertise and confidence across the many components of visual communication. With an in-depth knowledge of principles, you'll learn to create professional designs in both print and digital formats, as well as gain valuable insights into the areas of logo creation, image creation, designing for the web, typography, and branding. During this three-week summer course, you'll examine and draw inspiration from the artistic treasures and great museums in Florence to create a visual identity for a museum in need of rebranding, maintaining consistency and voice across mediums. Site visits are an integral part of your learning experience. This course is taught in English and starts each June. It is intended for students with competence or basic professional expertise in graphic design who are interested in developing their professional skills. Participants must be familiar with the main tools and software (Adobe Photoshop/AI) and motivated to work independently or in a team, under deadlines.
