We expected an ambitious academic program and were pleased by curriculum, quality of teachers, and efforts to maintain academics in the midst of a demanding sailing & living environment.
I was challenged by the work load but in the end it was all worth it. The academic routine never stopped. I learned something new and different every single day.
There are Caribbean mornings when you wake up and there is no question it's going to be a perfect day. The sun shining, sailing with a slight breeze or maybe hiking through the rain forest. Every day is lived to its fullest, you're exhausted and tired but you can't wait to do it again.
I can't express how much fun I have had on this voyage. It's wonderful. You are pushed to have an open mind and be a positive shipmate to everyone on board. It causes you to branch out on your own and at the same time, work closely with others. There is nothing else like it.
The education we received was great. The whole hands on experience and learning about the places we went helped me take in much more, unlike any educational experience out there. I loved it.
The program exceeded my expectations and it was the best thing I could have done for my son, at this age in his life.
I really liked that everything we learned connected directly to our lives. I think that academics balanced well with sailing and life aboard.
