Internships for High School Students

In today’s global job market, high school students need more than strong grades to stand out. Our High School Internship Program gives motivated students real-world experience, in-demand skills, and exposure to future career paths before university begins. We offer remote/virtual internships for high schoolers in four key fields: Business, Marketing, Entrepreneurship, and NGOs (non-profit organizations). Designed specifically for high schoolers, the program provides hands-on training that builds essential skills such as teamwork, professionalism, organization, and written communication. Interns also gain confidence, resilience, and leadership abilities that strengthen university, job, and gap year applications. Virtual internships offer flexibility and global exposure, helping students develop independence while connecting with professionals worldwide. Interns benefit from flexible schedules, global networking, career training, and a one-hour session with an experienced career coach focused on resumes, interviews, and personal branding. Whether you’re exploring interests or preparing for a specific career, our program provides a powerful head start toward future success.

Our GIMFA program gives young players the possibility to train in a professional setting, opening doors in the football world. We have recently signed an agreement with the 1st Division Spanish Club Getafe C.F. in order to become their International Football Academy in Spain. This is clearly an added value for our Academy and, more specifically, for our Sports Program, allowing our players to be part of the structure of this high-performance Club. Getafe International Madrid Football Academy offers the Soccer Development Program with the option of doing a full academic year (10 months) or just the semester (5 months). Program: Getafe International Madrid Football Academy

I’m a former player a Getafe international academy. My honestly opinion with this academy and foreign kids that is trying to go pro in Spain is not very positive. First, the academy provides very good facilities from official credit American international school to the best student residence in Madrid. Academic side is very good. 2nd. We have to clarify this academy is international academy, not the official department under the actual la Liga team academy. It’s an company work with Gefate to use their facilities and if possible very very very very good place would possibly be considered by academy of official gefate. 3rd. Generally the players here come from a very wealthy background of family, players pay here to play in this academy, not selected to play. 4th. Being considered DO not mean you have a chance, only means you could possibly be considered if official gefate can’t find players. 5th. So far, the academy has open for more than 5 years. Only 2 players got selected to official gefate academy, and now they both got let go after 1 season at the team. One played only 8 minutes out of the entire season, another only played friendly. 6th. Playing football in Spain is very very very hard. Thinking about making pro through Gefate international wouldn’t be the best option, since it does not provide and can’t provide a competitive environment for players such as playing at local division of Spain. This academy only plays in friendly games and a random little league game that is extremely uncompetitive. Finally, I recommend the students who wants to go pro should find a local agency in Spain, which provides variety of options and assess to local to national Spanish federation youth football. And these are the leagues which has Real Madrid or Barcelona, type of Academy, playing in. About agency in Spain. Spanish agency usually provide two taco services to two taco players. 1) is the player that got selected by agency, and that offered to play in many teams without paying money. 2) require you to pay certain amount of money, like 5000-8000 euro a season to play the first season. After the first season, if you’re good enough, you should eat agency will not require you to pay any more. About paying: Agencies in Spain charge around €5000-€8000 season of playing in Spain that offer you access teams that play local and national league. This amount is equivalent to the amount of money you pay in most of the international Academy. What happened to most of the players in this Academy after their youth development? Most of the player due to huge challenges in football of Spain, decided to leave Spain and pursue a career somewhere else or go to uni. Others that stayed in Spain to play football are at 6 to 7 division and the best one is currently at the fifth division of Spain. If you would ask me, if it’s worth to come to this Academy in my personal opinion, I do not think players that are serious about football should come to this academy.
