Disaster Relief Volunteering in South Africa

My previous accommodation with Projects Abroad was canceled by my institution days before I was scheduled to leave. When given the option of doing a different project, this company was incredibly flexible and was able to ensure all my needs were met to have a successful project. I truly loved my time in Arusha, Tanzania, and believe that this experience happened for a reason. I would not change it for the world!

My stay in Cape Town was truly a life-changing experience. From the moment I arrived, Magister made sure I felt welcomed and prepared for my stay. The organizers were very supportive and organized my accommodation and work place which exceeded my expectations in every way. I loved my host family and role as a teacher assistant and child care worker. I connected with locals and other volunteers from around the world and built friendships that I will cherish forever. I would highly recommend this program to anyone looking to make a positive impact while exploring one of the most beautiful cities in the world. Cape Town’s breathtaking beauty left an indelible mark on my heart so that I hope to return someday!
