TEFL Courses & Certification in Multiple Countries

I finished the 120 Hour TEFL and had my certs apostilled after I found a job using one of their China job recruiter links. I don’t think they get any commissions for these as I dealt with a recruiter. The course, I thought it was great because they cover so many topics; the feedback is good especially on practice tasks; and staff responded to my email. Everything was very especially because I passed and squeezed everything from it like a job application and paperwork.

It's a good course and I am proud that I finish it with time. I have learned many interesting things and feel confident in my English. I will use this for help me teach children more better in the academy. The price is good for what I learn.

What I value most about doing this is the sense that it is genuinely making me a stronger teacher for my students. It shines a light on the gaps you did not even realize were there, while also backing up the things you already know. If you are thinking of getting started, or if you have been teaching English for years like I have, I cannot recommend the TEFL Institute of Ireland enough. This year I finished the 180 Hour Level 5 TEFL course along with the 30 Hour Advanced Grammar, and I am currently working through the Teaching English Online course. I am truly thankful for my personal tutor Rachel, who ALWAYS got back to me straight away with any questions, especially during that sensitive final assessment stage. Thank you! I also found the weekly live group tutor support sessions really helpful for talking through issues and topics with a tutor and fellow students. And thank you as well to Sarah in Customer Support for how quickly she responds whenever we reach out with requests or questions. There is no doubt in my mind that these courses are money well spent.

From the very first second that I spent attending the great Dr. Margaret Hurley's live grammar session, I knew I did right by myself by choosing this course. I managed to learn so much in such little time. The material, though a little outdated given the fact that this course was launched in 2003, was enriching and easily bettered me as an English teacher. Add to that, the accreditations of the certificates that this course provides you with once you are done are the best examples of money being well-spent.

The 10 Hour Advanced Certificate in TEFL Classroom Methodologies Course absolutely blew me away!! I am only at the very start of my time with the TEFL Institute, and this was such a brilliant way to kick things off. It is packed with practical advice, useful information, and great tips!!!. Michelle Benson is a fantastic teacher, and I would definitely recommend this course.

I have just finished the 300hr TEFL course through the TEFL Institute of Ireland and I would definitely suggest it to others. The course awarded me five certificates in total, which has been such a bonus. After I completed it, I was able to use those certificates to secure a job teaching English as a foreign language. It is a widely recognised qualification and I am really happy I chose to study with this institute.

I’ve just finished the 180 hour level 5 course and I honestly really enjoyed it. Everything was laid out in a clear way, and even if a few topics came up more than once, like authentic materials, every unit still brought a new angle and fresh details. The assessments felt right for a level 5 diploma, and the extra explanations for the questions were genuinely useful. Since English is not my first language, I did need to adjust some of my answers, but the guidance helped a lot when it came to passing the exam. Rachel, my tutor, and everyone on the team seem so kind. I did not actually run into any problems because the platform worked smoothly, which meant I hardly had to reach out to her, which is a shame, but The TEFL Institute has such a friendly and welcoming feel. I have just received my Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the TEFL Institute. I have just finished the 180 hr level 5 TEFL course with the TEFL Institute of Ireland. After I did an English test, a consultant guided me toward the course that suited me best. It turned out to be exactly what I needed. Because I was already teaching English at an important school, I honestly assumed there would not be much new for me. I mainly wanted the certificate so I could open up other opportunities, but I ended up learning a lot more than I expected and I am really glad I signed up. I definitely recommend this course. The team are true professionals and the costumer service is excellent.

I have really loved getting to be a student again, and the TEFL Institute of Ireland genuinely made it an enjoyable return to learning. I completed the Level 5, 180 hour course and was matched with a tutor, Rachel, who always got back to me quickly and efficiently whenever I had questions. Each of my three assignments was handled just as thoughtfully by the course assessment officer Laura, and her constructive feedback and positive suggestions were exactly what I needed to stay motivated and interested. The course content is very thorough and goes into a lot of detail across a wide range of classroom and online teaching topics. On top of that, there is a weekly one hour live online tutor support session, along with an online student community, which really helps you feel connected. I now feel confident and excited to take the next steps in my teaching journey at a more advanced level. The TEFL Masters course is everything it promised to be: it's well-organised and it's clearly written by professionals, because there is just so much pedagogical knowledge. They have so many useful activities to make you really think about what you've read and listened to, and it gets your mind into how you might actually need to use the information. For me, this is where the course really matched its claims. I was expecting to just watch a few videos and read a pile of text, but they balance those things with using engaging assessments well. There are quite a few quiz questions on top of the situational tasks, so you have to either know the content well or have another page open with the course notes! I can't remember how many demo videos there are, but there are quite a few, and they're very good for seeing the concepts visually being done by people who make it look pretty easy (maybe too easy that it lures you into a false sense of security?!). While the course is excellent, I'd like to see a few improvements. First up, there needs to be a clearer overview of what each course gives you - there are quite a few course options, some with assignments, some with a practical (?), and it was a bit dense trying to find what I needed to know to make my decision. Customer service was very good, but having a chatbot or just a broader collection of questions in their faq would be much more convenient. Another thing is once you finish, they do have links for jobs and some resources, but these should be openly available or even provided at the end when you get your certificate. Really, for the $50 that you pay, these things are a bit like complaining about a dirty spoon when you're only eating a main course, but we all have expectations, and there were another few small things they can definitely improve on.

I used the chat on the TEFL institute website because I needed a bit of help. They answered what I asked right away and I felt taken care of, but more questions came up afterward. I was about to start another chat when I saw that Tracy had already emailed me with a full recap of everything we had talked about and let me know I could reach out again if I needed anything. From there we kept going over email, and she even phoned me to clear up a couple of details. She truly did more than expected to make sure I was comfortable with my course, followed up on every question, and made me feel supported throughout.

I have just finished both the 120 hour TEFL and the 30 hour online TEFL, and I am honestly impressed with the TEFL Institute. The online platform is excellent, the course layout is easy to follow, and the learning materials and resources are really well put together. The price was the best part too, it felt like great value for money. Thank you, and please keep doing what you are doing.

Up to now I have really been enjoying it. Everything is laid out clearly on the website and app, both of which are straightforward to get into, and I can work through the material whenever it fits around my schedule.
