TEFL Courses & Certification in Multiple Countries

I recently finished the course and received an email to review. If you're thinking about doing this course, it's very good. I'd just say that you should do your research on what kind of job you're looking to get at the end of it, though. They told me it suits most 'entry or middle level' ESL teaching requirements but not ones like British Council or similar. I'll be going into this for the first time with my newb badge, so it suits me perfectly. I learned everything from past methods to modern ones like TPR and how to plan lessons for all ages and how to use activities to get motivation up and so many tidbits along those lines that I feel pretty blessed to have found the course. The resources given at the end of the course are wonderful (though I did need to email them to get them to sort out the formatting on a couple of them as they were restricted in width: they happily obliged anyway) so no real complaints.

Fantastic experience. I was expecting just a basic grammar course, but it went so much deeper into teaching skills, games, how to find work, and building a career. I have nothing bad to say about this program; I highly recommend it!

What can I say other than being extremely proud of myself?! I have never taken an online course before, but watching a movie earlier in the year put an idea in my head about me bing abroad and teaching English, and now I’m finally in a position where I can do just that! It wasn’t easy, wasn’t hard, but it was extremely eye opening, rewarding, interesting, and just generally well executed! I couldn’t be happier with my experience!! Thank you so much to all at TeflMasters for your support and kindness!!!

I let AI help me out with this one, which I've found has worked out every time I've done that, though my sample size is only 3 right now! The teflmasters website looked legit when I clicked the gpt link, and the accreditor OTCC checked out, so off I went with payment. After paying, you click through to their LMS and get going with the course. I waited a few days before getting into the modules, which I found took anywhere from 2 to 4 hours to get through. 120 hours is feasible, though I doubt anyone reads everything twice and watches all videos and all the other things. The text is really detailed and has lots of teacher tips and stories related to the topic, and there are many different types of learner groups covered as well as online teaching. I doubt I'll ever teach online, but I guess it could be handy if ever something like covid hits again. On the topic of AI, one review I read mentioned AI video voice, but there wasn't a single AI video that I saw or heard. The staff mentioned to me on an email that the text had been grammar and spelling checked with grammarly AI, which explains why there aren't any errors in anything I read, but the audio thing had me a bit puzzled. They potentially did have and then changed it. I personally wouldn't have an issue with AI narration or images if they helped me, but it was a nice touch having human narration, even if I only listened to it for the trickier modules when I wanted a review without reading. Honestly, I think the only thing missing is images, and if they're reading this review I'd say the only thing missing is a few choice images (though maybe not gifs!) in your text, AI or not. Regardless, I think the amount that I got for my money here was brilliant, so this is by no means a deal breaker. This is a great course with staff who seem to really care about their training quality. I hope this review helps. Thanks

Exceptional support from these guys. Not sure how I managed to put a double space between my names on the cert, but I did, so hey ho. Anyway, long story short, I emailed when I saw my downloaded certificate looked a bit off due to the big gap. 10 minutes later, I had a new certificate in my inbox with 3 review links. Happy to oblige,, it was a wonderful course. Best of luck to you guys!

I will recommend the course to all students and graduated students who will like to learn how they may become English teachers. The course prepared me to have the confidence and the skills to succeed as an online teacher of English. I receive the feedback that I could use to improve my understanding to teach.

I'll leave a review to happily broadcast the high quality of your staff and teachers. The practicals course was the one I opted for and I found it highly rewarding. Tutors responded with relevant feedback, the tasks got me thinking about how to prep for lessons. The course even without the assignments was full from feedback. Thank you

This was gold for me. Not only was it affordable, but it hit the mark when it came to quality. I did a course a decade ago with ITT or something and found it pretty grim with nothing but a very to show for it. This course is properly engaging and dapper.

I finished the 120 Hour TEFL and had my certs apostilled after I found a job using one of their China job recruiter links. I don’t think they get any commissions for these as I dealt with a recruiter. The course, I thought it was great because they cover so many topics; the feedback is good especially on practice tasks; and staff responded to my email. Everything was very especially because I passed and squeezed everything from it like a job application and paperwork.

It's a good course and I am proud that I finish it with time. I have learned many interesting things and feel confident in my English. I will use this for help me teach children more better in the academy. The price is good for what I learn.

What I value most about doing this is the sense that it is genuinely making me a stronger teacher for my students. It shines a light on the gaps you did not even realize were there, while also backing up the things you already know. If you are thinking of getting started, or if you have been teaching English for years like I have, I cannot recommend the TEFL Institute of Ireland enough. This year I finished the 180 Hour Level 5 TEFL course along with the 30 Hour Advanced Grammar, and I am currently working through the Teaching English Online course. I am truly thankful for my personal tutor Rachel, who ALWAYS got back to me straight away with any questions, especially during that sensitive final assessment stage. Thank you! I also found the weekly live group tutor support sessions really helpful for talking through issues and topics with a tutor and fellow students. And thank you as well to Sarah in Customer Support for how quickly she responds whenever we reach out with requests or questions. There is no doubt in my mind that these courses are money well spent.

From the very first second that I spent attending the great Dr. Margaret Hurley's live grammar session, I knew I did right by myself by choosing this course. I managed to learn so much in such little time. The material, though a little outdated given the fact that this course was launched in 2003, was enriching and easily bettered me as an English teacher. Add to that, the accreditations of the certificates that this course provides you with once you are done are the best examples of money being well-spent.

The 10 Hour Advanced Certificate in TEFL Classroom Methodologies Course absolutely blew me away!! I am only at the very start of my time with the TEFL Institute, and this was such a brilliant way to kick things off. It is packed with practical advice, useful information, and great tips!!!. Michelle Benson is a fantastic teacher, and I would definitely recommend this course.

I have just finished the 300hr TEFL course through the TEFL Institute of Ireland and I would definitely suggest it to others. The course awarded me five certificates in total, which has been such a bonus. After I completed it, I was able to use those certificates to secure a job teaching English as a foreign language. It is a widely recognised qualification and I am really happy I chose to study with this institute.

I’ve just finished the 180 hour level 5 course and I honestly really enjoyed it. Everything was laid out in a clear way, and even if a few topics came up more than once, like authentic materials, every unit still brought a new angle and fresh details. The assessments felt right for a level 5 diploma, and the extra explanations for the questions were genuinely useful. Since English is not my first language, I did need to adjust some of my answers, but the guidance helped a lot when it came to passing the exam. Rachel, my tutor, and everyone on the team seem so kind. I did not actually run into any problems because the platform worked smoothly, which meant I hardly had to reach out to her, which is a shame, but The TEFL Institute has such a friendly and welcoming feel. Thanks again for such a positive experience!

I have just received my Level 5 Certificate in Teaching English as a Foreign Language from the TEFL Institute. I also want to give a huge thank you to the other students who joined the Live Tutor sessions and asked questions, because the answers really helped everyone while working through the different modules. Lucy, Rachel, and Sarah were consistently there whenever anything came up, and they were so patient and generous with both their advice and their time. The whole experience has been incredible, and it has left me with the knowledge, skills, and confidence to take the next step and start Teaching. Thanks to everyone at TEFL. I would definitely recommend the 180 hour program, including the 30 hour online module. Gerry Clancy

The TEFL Institute really suits both educators and anyone aiming to earn a TEFL Certificate. My experience speaking with the enrollment advisor, Annelies Veenhouwer, was very pleasant. She kept me updated and walked me through every detail in such a clear, helpful way.

People like Emma on the staff have been really keen to support me, and the TEFL courses they offer are clear, informative, and genuinely useful when you are applying for EFL jobs abroad. If you want to get started in an EFL teaching career, I would definitely recommend the TEFL Institute of Ireland.

I have just finished the 180 hr level 5 TEFL course with the TEFL Institute of Ireland. After I did an English test, a consultant guided me toward the course that suited me best. It turned out to be exactly what I needed. Because I was already teaching English at an important school, I honestly assumed there would not be much new for me. I mainly wanted the certificate so I could open up other opportunities, but I ended up learning a lot more than I expected and I am really glad I signed up. I definitely recommend this course. The team are true professionals and the costumer service is excellent.

I have really loved getting to be a student again, and the TEFL Institute of Ireland genuinely made it an enjoyable return to learning. I completed the Level 5, 180 hour course and was matched with a tutor, Rachel, who always got back to me quickly and efficiently whenever I had questions. Each of my three assignments was handled just as thoughtfully by the course assessment officer Laura, and her constructive feedback and positive suggestions were exactly what I needed to stay motivated and interested. The course content is very thorough and goes into a lot of detail across a wide range of classroom and online teaching topics. On top of that, there is a weekly one hour live online tutor support session, along with an online student community, which really helps you feel connected. I now feel confident and excited to take the next steps in my teaching journey at a more advanced level. A special thanks as well to Olivia Klimczyk in customer support for the encouragement to keep studying.
