TEFL Courses & Certification in Kyoto, Japan

I have as yet gone abroad to teach. I am currenlty enrolled in the Job Placement Program in Japan and should be able to begin teaching in the Spring The support from Andrew Hines and the Student Affairs office with Marushka has been exemplorary, understanding, quick and efficient on answering questions/concerns, encouraging and extremely supportive. I will recommend TEFL Academy, and I do often, to anyone I meet interested in ESL teaching abroad.

I loved the course , did because I had the time to kill , but it was well invested time. I learnt a lot about the language itself and very good and fun ways to teach English to others. Vanessa was very helpful and always available when I needed the help. Hard copy certificate arrived on time. Really enjoyed it and definitely recommend.

I took the course in order to be able to work overseas and to deep my knowledge of teaching. i found this course brilliant!the content is full and structured. The tutor i worked with is a wonderful and an experienced teacher whose comments were more than useful. i d really recommend you this course!

I thought the course was excellent. It stretched me and made me think about a lot of situations that i otherwise may not have thought of. Now I am qualified it has given me more confidence in going forward in Teaching English as a Foreign Language. I would highly recommend this course to anyone.

I found the course easy to understand and it allowed me to work at my own speed. I had very good communication with my course overseer and also received lots of encouragement and any needed positive correction when making mistakes in my assignments, etc. I believe ITT to be an honest and sincere organization.

Good quality course that is very helpful and well explained. Staff are also very helpful and responsive, always answering queries and offering help quickly. I would recommend the level 5 course to anyone who is considering TEFL.

When I first had the idea of teaching abroad I did not know where to start. ITA provided me with the help and resources that I needed to take on a new adventure. So glad I found ITA! They are great!!!

When I first started looking into teaching English as a foreign language, I was overwhelmed, to say the least. ITA was able to give me the level of confidence I needed to feel like I could be a successful teacher.

Currently, my TEFL course is ending and I just wanted to say a few words to anyone that might be curious about starting your certificate. Just do it. If your dream is to travel, teach, and explore the world this is such an amazing opportunity to do it. This course takes you step by step in learning the basics of English all the way to creating lesson plans. By the end of the course, not only will you know how to teach students English, you will know the many different ways of effective teaching while making it fun and motivating at the same time. I really enjoyed my experience with this course and I can not wait to see where I travel. My first destination is either South Korea or Japan. Wish me luck! :)

ITA provided an informative and useful course. I feel very confident and prepared to go abroad and become an English teacher. The job search guidance was very useful and I feel supported by the knowledgable staff members at ITA.

My experience with the International TEFL Academy has been great! I started this process with no teaching experience and felt really nervous about teaching abroad. But after taking the course I am very excited to begin this process. I am still nervous overall but I feel like now I have a great base to start out. The course taught me a lot about different methods I can use in my future classroom as well as helped me understand how to handle students of different ages, cultural backgrounds, and learning abilities. It helped foster a creative side in me to come up with great lessons and just overall plans to help my future students learn English.

ITA is a great program. I thoroughly enjoyed taking this course. I feel that I am now prepared to go abroad and teach English. I was able to easily complete the course while having a job and doing other things. The instructor I had was great, the textbook was informative and helpful. The tasks were relevant and helped prepare me. I have already recommended this program to a couple friends.

This course offers everything it promises. The content, materials, and resources are exactly inline with what an ESL Teaching job requires. The course provides a few different perspectives and doesn't promote one "right way" or doing things. Quizzes and tasks work to test understanding and tends to build on each other. After completing this course, I feel very well-equipped to begin my new career.

ITA went above and beyond my expectations for TEFL certification training. It was an overwhelmingly positive experience. I would recommend this course to anyone considering teaching abroad. I loved it!

I took an online TEFL certification course with ITA in October-December 2016. I found it to be thoroughly impressive overall; as a result, it prepared me comprehensively for teaching overseas. As someone who entered the course as an experienced university instructor, I particularly benefited from the course's consistent focus on the unique demands and opportunities of international TEFL teaching. A strong element of the program is its use of instructors with extensive teaching experience. The guidance my teacher provided has proved over and over to be very helpful to me and my students.
