Guaranteed Job Placements - Teaching English in Japan

I have as yet gone abroad to teach. I am currenlty enrolled in the Job Placement Program in Japan and should be able to begin teaching in the Spring The support from Andrew Hines and the Student Affairs office with Marushka has been exemplorary, understanding, quick and efficient on answering questions/concerns, encouraging and extremely supportive. I will recommend TEFL Academy, and I do often, to anyone I meet interested in ESL teaching abroad.

Currently, my TEFL course is ending and I just wanted to say a few words to anyone that might be curious about starting your certificate. Just do it. If your dream is to travel, teach, and explore the world this is such an amazing opportunity to do it. This course takes you step by step in learning the basics of English all the way to creating lesson plans. By the end of the course, not only will you know how to teach students English, you will know the many different ways of effective teaching while making it fun and motivating at the same time. I really enjoyed my experience with this course and I can not wait to see where I travel. My first destination is either South Korea or Japan. Wish me luck! :)

ITA provided an informative and useful course. I feel very confident and prepared to go abroad and become an English teacher. The job search guidance was very useful and I feel supported by the knowledgable staff members at ITA.

My experience with the International TEFL Academy has been great! I started this process with no teaching experience and felt really nervous about teaching abroad. But after taking the course I am very excited to begin this process. I am still nervous overall but I feel like now I have a great base to start out. The course taught me a lot about different methods I can use in my future classroom as well as helped me understand how to handle students of different ages, cultural backgrounds, and learning abilities. ITA is a great program. I thoroughly enjoyed taking this course. I feel that I am now prepared to go abroad and teach English. I was able to easily complete the course while having a job and doing other things. The instructor I had was great, the textbook was informative and helpful. The tasks were relevant and helped prepare me. I have already recommended this program to a couple friends.

This course offers everything it promises. The content, materials, and resources are exactly inline with what an ESL Teaching job requires. The course provides a few different perspectives and doesn't promote one "right way" or doing things. Quizzes and tasks work to test understanding and tends to build on each other. After completing this course, I feel very well-equipped to begin my new career.

I took an online TEFL certification course with ITA in October-December 2016. I found it to be thoroughly impressive overall; as a result, it prepared me comprehensively for teaching overseas.
