Peter and his team provided excellent support throughout the TESOL course that I did in Phnom Penh. The course content was fantastic and I learnt a lot from the course, especially the practicals where you teach real Cambodian children. It can be nerve racking at first but the support is there to get you confident enough to teach.

AVSE-TESOL is a great first stepping stone to become an ESL teacher abroad. Not only did they serve me well in gaining the confidence and practical experience to step foot in the classroom, but they also provided me with a great lesson plan structure and tons of inspiration for class activities which have wowed employers and delighted students of all ages. Taking this course was my first time abroad (alone) as well. I couldn't have even imagined trying to start a life in a new city without the friends I made and guidance I received from this course. SJ has been especially helpful with continually providing personalized feedback, tips, and guidance (whether it's about teaching or finding my way around the city). Thank you! ?

ITT was a great course to take. It was as easy as watching a video and reading some text for each module, then answering a quiz. I must admit the lesson planning and classroom management assignments were quite challenging at first but my tutor Stacy helped me and made it a lot easier. ITT come highly recommended

I would recommend ITT to anyone; particularly, if you want to earn your TEFL while working full-time. The workload is manageable and insightful. The lesson planning assignments were helpful and my tutor, Wayne Walker, gave me great feedback. The best part of ITT is the support from staff. They are always available via email or phone to answer questions, give advice, and discuss your concerns. They were incredibly helpful and kind and reassuring during what can be an uncertain and stressful process.

So happy I decided to go with AVSE TESOL in Cambodia as their TEFL classroom is based inside a real school which is very rare. You are literally observing how classrooms work - immediately. Plus youre building your teaching confidence in a real school environment - with teachers and students. With regards to your TEFL class - Lots to learn but the course teacher was great and the classes are small enough (I think we had 12) that each topic is covered thoroughly with lots of discussion and practice (in front of your peers) before you head out to a real classroom. Brilliant.
