Warsaw University of Technology dates back to November 15, 1915 and is considered the first technical university in Poland. Lessons used to be conducted in Polish at the Civil and Agricultural Engineering, Chemistry, Machine Design and Electrical Engineering, and Architecture faculties. Today, we have celebrated 100 years of service in the education industry.
With a century of experience and recognition, we have also responded to changes - the internationalization of education in particular. Hence, we welcome students from numerous European countries (such as Spain, Turkey, Austria, Czech Republic, Greece, and many more) through our international exchange programs. These are promoted in partnership with other technological universities and institutions. The Centre for International Cooperation supports and helps organize our international activities.
