For me, it felt like UBELONG was driven entirely by making the international volunteer experience as wonderful as possible. Their love of volunteering and travelling and great spirit pervade everything that they do. The projects they offer are exciting, the correspondence before you go is really helpful and kind, and their website is inspirational. Also my experience as a teacher’s assistant in Cusco, Peru was one of the greatest of my life. The volunteer coordinator showed me around and got me settled, I was welcomed each day by the class and I really felt like I was able to be a part of something positive and special. I’ll always remember teaching some lessons on the blackboard with amazing faces looking at me! Thank you UBELONG!

I had a great experience volunteering in Ecuador with UBELONG. I served in Quito for 3 weeks on the education projects. It was challenging yet very rewarding. I found all to be friendly, happy to help and supportive. A great organization offers busy people like me the chance to take a break and do good. Thank you.

I had a phenomenal experience with UBELONG. I communicated a lot with my mentor before the trip, so I was comfortable when I got to Quito. This was my first volunteer trip abroad and I can't wait for my next with UBELONG!

During the spring I spent three weeks volunteering in Quito. This was my first time outside the US by myself for a long period, and Ubelong helped me have a wonderful experience. Before I left I received a very helpful briefing manual that answered nearly all my questions, and any left unanswered, my mentor quickly responded on email. Also, before my departure I had a Skype safety meeting with my mentor to go over safety in the field and help calm my nerves. Once I got to Ecuador the family I stayed with was wonderful. I was made to feel like part of the family, which made for a very special experience. The teaching project I volunteered on, I will never forget. I help children learn English, but they helped me learn so much about who I am and want to become. With full confidence, I recommend Ubelong to anyone looking to volunteer abroad. It is a family I am proud to be apart of!
Couldn't have asked for a better experience.

I had a fantastic time volunteering with UBELONG in Quito for 4 weeks over summer break. It was my first time out of the US, but all the assistance from UBELONG along the way helped prepare me. The family at the volunteer house was so welcoming and made me feel like I was at home, and the other volunteers were great. I would highly recommend UBELONG to anyone wanting to volunteer in Ecuador.
