Patagon Journal’s mission is to build a greater appreciation, understanding, and environmental protection of Patagonia. The content of the magazine centers on protecting and enjoying the last, large wild places left on the planet, Patagonia in particular. Published in print and digital formats, and written both in English and Spanish, in December 2011 the magazine's inaugural issue was published. Since then, Patagon Journal has quickly grown and established itself as the preeminent magazine in Chile and worldwide about nature, the environment and the outdoors in Chilean and Argentine Patagonia. In addition to a quarterly magazine Patagon Journal also has a website with news, a blog, and more. We also publish occasional books, produce videos, host an annual photo contest, organize special events, are active on social networks such as Facebook, Twitter and Instagram, and distribute an e-newsletter.
