Mercy Volunteer Corps (MVC) is a transformative force for social change. Aligned with the mission and vision of the Sisters of Mercy of the Americas, MVC empowers dedicated volunteers to serve individuals facing injustices in the United States and Guyana, South America. In the spirit of mutuality, MVC fosters compassion, justice, spiritual growth, and simplicity within a supportive community. These volunteers work tirelessly in education, healthcare, and social services, offering accompaniment and presence to those marginalized and oppressed. Rooted in the legacy of Catherine McAuley and driven by the Mercy Critical Concerns, MVC aspires to create a more just and merciful world, building bridges of solidarity and fostering personal growth within the Circle of Mercy.
