Overall, I had an amazing experience with LTL’s Mandarin schools in Beihai and Kunming. Savannah, the Director of Studies for Kunming and Beihai, is prompt and consistent in her communication. Each week she organizes activities and helps students get to know each other. Even when small logistical hiccups happen (e.g. a restaurant being out a certain meal she ordered for the group), she adapts quickly and checks in to make sure you get to have input. In addition, Savannah set me up with a homestay in Beihai which was so welcoming and helped me transition to my new environment. My teachers in Beihai and Kunming were beyond excellent. Summer, my teacher in Beihai, goes the extra mile to provide cultural context and multiple examples to learn from. In Kunming, Luna makes genuine effort to make connections with students and to find every occasion to make the learning situation light-hearted

I had a great experience in this program. My teacher, Summer, was patient, supportive, and made learning Chinese fun. I became much more confident speaking Mandarin and enjoyed practicing with local people while exploring Beijing. I also learned a lot about Chinese culture and met amazing people. This experience made me even more excited to continue learning Chinese, and I would definitely recommend this program to others.

I studied Mandarin for two months at LTL Singapore, and I absolutely loved my lessons. My teacher was Zhang Hui laoshi, and she was an amazing teacher who made our lessons a lot of fun while also making the language points and grammar super easy to understand. She made sure I felt confident when practicing my Mandarin, and also motivated me to keep studying and trying my best. My program was well-organised and flexible when I needed to make changes, and there were lots of opportunities provided to practice my Mandarin speaking in public when we went out to do activities together. I especially loved how we were able to study in different locations around the city, which gave me a chance to explore new areas I'd never been to before. I would highly recommend studying here!
