This new development qualification in TESOL is regulated at level 6 on the Ofqual Framework. It is designed for teachers with classroom experience to develop their skills in either physical or online language education.

Accredited at Ofqual Level 6 - higher than CELTA or CertTESOL
Course length: 5 weeks or 10 weeks
Study time: 8-12 hours per week, depending on course duration
Required: initial TEFL certificate + 6 months of experience
OR
no initial certificate + 2 years of experience
Minimum language level: B2 (IELTS 6)
No observed teaching practice

The Trinity CertPT develops your skills as a classroom or online language educator through four units of study:
1) Evaluation of a published/online teaching resource
2) Adaptation of a published/online teaching resource for a specific group of learners
3) Creation of a physical/online teaching resource for a specific group of learners
4) Reflection on the delivery of the adapted/created resource
