La Unión Spanish School

La Unión is a Spanish school in the heart of Antigua, a small city in southern Guatemala renowned for numerous Spanish colonial buildings and surrounding volcanoes. Founded and directed by Juan Carlos Martínez, La Unión was started in 1996 by a group of experienced Spanish teachers who taught Peace Corps Volunteers. The school was opened to share the Guatemalan culture and Spanish language with tourists. For around 23 years, we have provided services based on the vision “mi casa es tu casa”, which means “my house is your house”. At La Unión, we accommodate students across all levels - from complete beginners with no experience in speaking Spanish to the more advanced speakers wishing to improve their mastery of the language.
