International House Sydney is part of the International House World Organisation (IHWO), a global network of language schools established in 1953. 

International House Sydney offers a range of English language courses for students of all levels, from beginner to advanced. These include General English courses, IELTS preparation courses, Cambridge exam preparation courses (FCE, CAE, CPE), and English for Academic Purposes (EAP).

Currently, they're offering the General English Course. This course offers either an Intensive (23 hours per week) or Semi-Intensive (20 hours per week) English development program. It focuses on enhancing speaking, listening, reading, and writing skills, as well as grammar, vocabulary, and functional English. Classes are tailored to meet individual student needs and emphasize real-world English, taught through practical, communicative methods. Activities are drawn from real-life environments to enrich learning experiences.vExpect to spend at least 3 months per level and ensure that you're progressing.
