A great experience in Euroace
April 04, 2026by: Miki Chen - ChinaI spent two weeks learning basic Spanish at Euroace in Valencia during my holiday break in February. The teachers were so kind and engaging – I truly liked them. It was a fantastic experience. Hopefully next time I can stay longer and take more courses there !
WE LOVE EUROACE! ME GUSTA EUROACE
March 07, 2026by: Maxwell Mitchell - CanadaMy partner and our friends all attend classes at Euroace in Valencia. We love Euroace! The staff, admins and teachers are all great and very sweet. It's like family for us. If you're coming to Valencia, don't sign up for any Spanish language schools until you give Euroace a try. You will love them. I've had a few different teachers at Euroace and love them all.
Great time with Euroace
November 19, 2025by: Jinyu Hu - ChinaThe experience with Euroace is joyful and helpful. I got to know different professors and experienced different styles of classes. The classes would be nicer if talking more than writing. Apart from language, I learned about the culture and got to know interesting people also I made some great friends here.
Well worth it
October 21, 2025by: Jacqueline Szabo - IrelandI did an Intensive Spanish course in Valencia & it was very enjoyable & helpful. The course was for 2 weeks, 4 hours each day. Most of the time the class size was small so the teacher was able to help each student. The curriculum was varied to cover both grammar & conversation & the pace suited my level. The teacher was very good & helpful.
Hi Jacqueline, Thank you for your review, we really appreciate it! We are so happy you had a great experience. We hope to see you around Valencia soon!
Great school
March 01, 2024by: J B - PolandI loved my Spanish lessons at this school. The teacher was fantastic and overall everybody at the school was nice. I liked the programme, and the speaking emphasise - I actually started speaking a bit after only a month of the course. The only thing that was a bit of a challenge for me was the schedule that wasn’t flexible enough in my personal case. Basically if you finish work late you might not find an available group. The lessons start pretty early in the afternoon for those who finish work later than a standard 4pm. But again it’s a personal preference and availability matter. Other than that I would highly recommend the school to anybody who wants to quickly learn Spanish. If they open a group at my level that starts later during the day, I’ll definitely be back at Euroace because it’s a fantastic school. Cheers!
GREAT experience!
August 28, 2023by: Daan Quaijtaal - NetherlandsThe classes, the teachers as well as the informal atmosphere here are great. You really get the ability to learn Spanish quickly and on your own level and meet with a lot of new people which is really recommendable when you go to Valencia before knowing anyone. Together with its good prices this school is the #nr1 recommendation!
Amazing time
August 07, 2023by: Francesca Buonpensiere - ItalyThe internship was good, but the key that I enjoyed the most was the social life, the Spanish classes and my host family. Overall an amazing experience and I love Valencia. The school was well organized with all the activities and I had the opportunity to meet people. The internship in the end was fine.
Thank you for your review, Francesca! We're glad you had a great time. All the best! EUROACE team
Los profesores son cracks
July 15, 2023by: Maria Messner - United StatesThe instructors are excellent (they are "cracks", which is a good lol). The housing prices over the summer in Spain on the coast were steep. The administrators and everyone at Euroace were very accommodating, flexible, and kind.
I've had the best experience with Euroace
May 17, 2023by: Lucy Allan - United KingdomI first started taking classes in 2021 when I arrived to Valencia, and my spoken language improved so much due to teachers only speaking in the target language. Lately, I've been taking online private lessons to prepare for my final exams and they have also been extremely helpful for me. What a great, passionate, team!
Best way to kick start my career break!
October 12, 2022by: Laura Whiteley - EnglandGreat classes, teachers and city overall! I wanted to pick back up my Spanish and the classes definitely catered towards that. Euroace were great at assessing my level and putting me in the right classes to optimise my learning. Everyone was friendly and helpful throughout. Classes were of mixed ages and nationalities which was great - definitely the place to be if you want to meet a lot of people from around the world! Euroace also organised my living situation which was easy for me and I was lucky to end up living in a flat share with some great people not linked to euroace which allowed me to meet even more people with different reasons for being in Valencia. Would do it all over again in a heartbeat thank you Euroace!!
Amazing experience in an amazing city!
September 21, 2022by: Miguel Monge Mateus - PortugalEuroace gave me the opportunity to come to Valencia on multiple occasions for internships and Spanish classes. They were extremely helpful in helping me find accommodation, an internship in an organisation that fitted my profile and my academic/personal goals, along with providing me with wonderful Spanish lessons that included a vast number of international students to go along with the amazing teachers that they have at their disposal! I highly recommend people to reach out to Euroace if they want to go do their internship or Spanish course in Valencia!
The best abroad program experience!
August 30, 2022by: Sydney ChannellI highly recommend Euroace if you are looking to learn Spanish, find an internship or volunteer program or want a gap year program! All of the staff are super accommodating and will work with you to fulfill your needs and wants to have the perfect abroad experience in Valencia. I had the best time taking Spanish courses with Euroace; the teachers make classes fun and engaging! Classes are for all ages and all speaking levels, so it is a very welcoming, open environment. I also had Euroace help me match with an internship program, and I would do this 100 times over!
Important to my life and career
August 26, 2022by: Maruscha Stadnyk - BrazilEuroace has a fun and professional space at the same time. I always were anxious to go to the classes, and had a joyful time. My Spanish level improved a lot, mainly my accent. I got a job due my Spanish level, and now I speak to clients from almost every Spanish speaking country.
Best time with the best people
August 24, 2022by: Leonie Kirchmann - GermanyProgram: Gap Year Volunteer and Experiential Learning with Euroace
During my internship, I was able to connect to the greatest people from around the world, learn amazing things about the Spanish culture and improve my Spanish! The Family I was living with was so kind and lovely and Made the best food! In the co-working Space there were always people from Euroace ready to assist you with any problem or question.
It was a great experience and I highly recommend it
August 24, 2022by: Valentina Hatos - RomaniaHello, I took a Spanish language course for 5 weeks, twice a week, at Euroace, with my 12 year old son. In a short period of time we achieved very good results, we gained a lot of knowledge, both me and my son. The courses are built in an efficient way, being a mix of vocabulary, grammar, but also entertainment and many games. Due to the small number of students in the class, we received all the support, help and guidance from our teacher, receiving all the explanations we requested and needed. The environment is welcoming, everyone is friendly and willing to help.
Like a family
August 23, 2022by: Justine Siewert - GermanyWir hatten die beste Zeit in der Sprachschule Euroace. Ich kann die Schule sehr weiterempfehlen. Fiona und Justine We had the best time at Euroace language school. I can highly recommend the school. The price is unbeatable and the teachers are very friendly, warm and funny. Euroace has been a fantastic place to study for the last three months!
August 23, 2022by: Molly Zeidler - United KingdomEuroace has been a fantastic place to study for the last three months! I did the intensive language course and went from A1/2 to B2, I'm dyslexic and they were very accommodating to my needs and generally lovely teachers and staff! They are very flexible with the lessons if you want to take a day off and catch up later or your schedule changes too. The classes are interesting, engaging and cover all areas with a real emphasis on speaking which was exactly what I was looking for! Thank you everyone at Euroace and I hope to return soon!
Great time in Valencia
May 29, 2020by: Geraldine Munnelly - IrelandI went to Euroace for few months. I had group classes and also one to one classes. Everyone is so friendly there, and the teachers made me feel very comfortable and ease and never made me feel put on the spot. It is very well organised and the building is a good location and has different events on which they let you know about the week before. My accommodation was quite near and I met a lot of people at the language exchange nights. I have been doing classes online recently from Ireland and they wok well also.

Valencia internship & language course
March 09, 2020by: Chris Overduin - NetherlandsI am staying in Valencia for a full year, doing an internship with Villarreal CF for university credit and taking 8 hours of Spanish classes a week. This has been made possible through Euroace, a student agency and language school located in the center of Valencia. I came across Euroace and their internship and language program on the internet, trying to find a football internship in Spain. The communication was excellent and extremely helpful from the start. Quick responses, helpful information and a friendly service. The internship at Villarreal has been absolutely amazing, a unique experience made possible through Euroace's connections. I have been able to make a real impact within the organisation professionally, and experienced some really cool behind-the-scenes events within the club. Everything worked out smoothly with my university's requirements and documents I needed. The language classes Euroace organizes have also been a really good experience. The scheduling, costs and quality of classes are really good and tailored to each students' need. Everyone has classes on their respective Spanish level. The classroom environment is really open and relaxed. Classes do not feel like school in the slightest, as teachers create a very relaxed and flexible atmosphere and converse with students easily. This helps really learning the language on an informal level and I have improved my Spanish skills greatly, now being able to easily communicate with anyone here. Further customer service has been great, the staff are very friendly and helpful. Euroace hosts cultural, social and language events as well, making it really easy to integrate into the international Valencia community. All in all, my experience with Euroace has been amazing, professionally as well as personally, and I would highly recommend getting in touch with them if you are looking to gain professional experience, learn Spanish or get an amazing cultural experience!
Very good!
March 06, 2020by: Cilano Sobrinho - BrazilIn fact, Euroace's Spanish course is conducted by professionals committed to offering a qualified service. Various types of courses are offered, with programs suited to different student profiles. Teachers are well prepared and know how to conduct classes lightly, which makes learning easier. Students are encouraged to write and read in Spanish, which speeds up the absorption of content. There are also exchange and internship programs, but I cannot evaluate them because I did not participate in them. At the end of the course, everyone ends up becoming friends!
Very good time at Euroace
March 05, 2020by: Baptiste Massé - FranceI've spent three very instructive months. The courses were of high quality. It really changes to the school approach. Thank you very much for your time and the quality of teaching. I hope get in back soon.
My enjoyable intensive Spanish course with Euroace
October 16, 2019by: Daniela Dimitrova - BulgariaI decided to take a more academic approach towards improving my Spanish, and this took me to lovely Valencia in Spain where I signed up for a 4 weeks intensive course with Euroace. I loved every minute of it. The teachers were very friendly and patient, I managed to get an overview of grammar rules and structures, but the classes were also very interactive and customized to what we were really interested to learn. During the class we were given the chance to point out to different areas of vocabulary, grammar or situations we wish to role-play so the content of the classes would relate to what were interested to study. The enthusiasm of the teachers was contagious, they always came to the classes with a smile on their face and good humor. They were very patient and encouraging, at first I was not so used to speak in Spanish, but I picked up speed as my other classmates were not shy to speak and the teacher encouraged me a lot to get involved in the discussions. I met great classmates, that I am sure we would keep in touch with some of them. I really enjoyed the after-classes activities like day trips around Valencia during some weekends, attending a Paella cooking course, language exchanges in local pubs in Valencia, etc. This helped me get immersed in the Spanish culture, helped me to meet some local people and get more relaxed about speaking Spanish, the vivid language, as the locals speak it. I would warmly recommend the course to anyone looking to improve his Spanish language skills and have fun in Valencia.

Amazing Experience
October 10, 2019by: Isaac Gutjahr - United StatesI am a recent college graduate who was spending a gap year in Spain before starting graduate school. I interned with Villarreal CF doing media marketing and I also took Spanish classes. The internship was an absolutely incredible experience. I was able to see firsthand how a La Liga club operates as well hone my video skills. The program also provided a home stay which was a really great experience as well. I was able to practice my Spanish daily and really feel like I was welcomed into Spanish culture. I still talk to my host family even now that I am back home. The teachers at the school were wonderful. I do recommend going into the classes with goals that you want to achieve. The program is very fluid. The teachers are very willing to work on what you want but you need to be clear about what you are trying to get out of the classes because since students are coming and going, the lessons vary a lot from week to week. This is inevitable but you can maximize what you are getting from the lessons if you are clear with the teachers about your goals. I had a wonderful experience overall and I highly recommend this program to other people.
Internship abroad
August 30, 2019by: Anna Fasen - United StatesI am a senior engineering student. I studied abroad to complete my Spanish minor and gain internship experience in the engineering field. I lived with a host family (mom, dad, and sister). The family was great very friendly and generous with their home and actions. The program had optional planned activities for us, which were all very fun excursions. It was good to have a group of girls to hang out with, that I had met in class, but still have the freedom to travel on my own. It was a perfect amount of guidance and concern without feeling controlled or smothered by the program leaders. I did wish that the classes were a bit more structured. I recognize it was difficult with students coming and going, but it would have been nice to move forward in a logical manner and have more consistent teaching. My internship was much smaller scale than anticipated, but very interesting and enjoyable. I think it would have been suitable for an underclassman in engineering as well. I desired more immersion at my workplace because many of the other interns there were exchange from other countries, the common language was English. Overall I am very glad I went. It was an enjoyable livelong memory.
Love it!
August 29, 2019by: Alejandra van Os - NetherlandsSpend some amazing 2 months in the beautiful city Valencia, the school is located in one of the main streets, allowing us to learn the language in the mornings and soak up the culture afterwards. The teachers are super nice, the atmosphere is very welcoming and my housing situation was wonderful! Truly had the time of my life!!
Euroace experience
August 29, 2019by: Maria Zahran - IsraelI spent 2 wonderful months in Valencia while taking Spanish classes in Euroace, i had great time in this school, I made friends from all over the world ,and the teachers are great and super nice. The school is located in the center of Valencia which is so great.
Amazing program!
August 29, 2019by: Emily Kallem - United StatesI had the BEST time studying abroad through Euroace. I spent two months in Valencia, and I had such an amazing time learning about the culture, getting more comfortable with my language skills, and truly feeling like a part of that city. I would 10/10 recommend it, it will be some of my favorite memories for the rest of my life.
Fun, friends and laughter!
November 13, 2018by: Amanda Williams - United StatesProgram: Gap Year Volunteer and Experiential Learning with Euroace
Going abroad with Euroace was one of my dreams come true. I had wanted to study abroad for years and it just hadn't worked out over and over again. Finally, my senior year of college, Euroace came along and I was able to study Spanish, live with an amazing family, and work in Horticulture, my other degree, all at the same time! They were always willing to work with you and help you along and no question was too obvious or silly. They understood how different it can be for people to live in different cultures. I will always remember it fondly!
Studying in Valencia
October 24, 2018by: Andre Hawkins - United StatesComing to Euroace in Valencia has been one of the best decisions I've ever made in terms of practicing Spanish. I felt so welcomed and learned more than I ever had in my life. Very much worth entering the program!!
A wonderful few weeks
October 24, 2018by: Justin Swift - United KingdomLearning Spanish in Valencia is amazing, it's a complete experience. It allows you to go straight from the classroom to real situations and practice what you've learnt, the best way to cement the language!
Such an amazing experience
October 24, 2018by: Lily Sanderson - United StatesI absolutely loved everything about my three month summer internship in Valencia with Euroace. I would highly suggest this program to anyone looking into studying abroad. My Spanish speaking skills improved immensely and I made a lot of new friends! I leaned a lot in my internship, and they can be very individualized based on what you study... For instance I got placed in a weightless clinic because I study nutrition. My host family was great and all the staff at the program headquarters were amazing. Do this program!
Great lessons
October 24, 2018by: Liz D'Agostino - United KingdomI was only in Valencia for 2 weeks but managed to squeeze in a week of Spanish lessons. Euroace were really flexible and were able to work around the 2 public holidays so that I was able to fit in a total of 12 hours of group and individual lessons. Both teachers were lovely and it was really worthwhile as it's made me do a bit more reading and some more work since I've come home. I didn't go along to any activities organised by them so can't comment on those but I'd definitely recommend the school, it had a very nice atmosphere.
Academic Program/Study Abroad
September 15, 2015by: CallieI had the time of my life in Valencia. I spent four weeks there with Euroace, and I feel so much more confident with my Spanish. The experience really got me excited about my Spanish education and I can't wait to learn more and hopefully return to Spain to continue the amazing cultural experience that I had! I highly recommend this opportunity to anyone and everyone.
INTERNSHIP IN SPAIN
August 25, 2015by: Vivika - ValenciaAs every internhsip mine started with the organisation. I was surprised how fast Experiment e.V. (my organisation in Germany) and Euroace worked together. Within 2 weeks I knew the location of my apartment and the hotel for my internship. That was the fastest organisation I have ever seen. I stayed in Valencia for 8 months and worked in the 4 - Star- Hotel Neptuno. When I came to Valencia I was really nervous and felt kind of lost but Jose from Euroace picked me up and showed me the first 2 days around. During this time I learned the basic things about Valencia and my work as well. After these 2 days I started my internship in Hotel Neptuno and it couldn't have been better. My spanish wasn't good at the beginning, but my workers were patient and helped me a lot. After 2 months I spoke spanish well and had a lot of contact with my colleagues, guests and spanish friends. My boss also gave me a lot of oportunities to get the different departments in the hotel to know. Mostly I worked at the reception, but I worked also 9 days with the cleaning ladies, 2 weeks in the restaurant and a few days in the kitchen. So the whole hotel staff was like a second family for me. The atmosphere was great, we laughed together and I learned a lot. After the internship in the Hotel I was sure, that I want to study International Hotelmanagement. My home was really good located. I lived directly in the centre of Valencia and everything was really close. The apartment was 7 minutes away from the supermarket, 2 minutes from the bus station and 6 minutes from the Metro station. For going to the beach I needed approximately 25 minutes with the bus and 15 with the Metro and tram. So it was no problem to go somewhere in Valencia. My room was big and I was able to decorate it how I wanted to. I lived together with people from different countries and liked it a lot. As a result I learned spanish and spoke english as well. Valencia is a busy city so I never felt alone and there are a lot of of things to do: a long and big park called "Rio", which is really pretty, a lot of Shopping - Areas, the beach and a lot of night clubs and bars at night time. I liked, that Valencia is safe at nighttime. I never felt uncomfortable when I went home with a friend from a bar or club. I would recommend Valencia as an internship city because the people are really friendly, the weather is always good and it is easy to travel to other cities. I travelled to Alicante, Madrid, Barcelona and Granada. Last but not least Euroace. The people who are working there are really nice and help a lot. They gave me a heater for the winter and a fan for the summer for free. They actually safed my life. I also did a spanish course for the last 2 months. They helped me directly with my problems I told them and we always had fun in the lessons. Euroace also arranges trips. I went with them to Requena and a Tapa-Flamenco-Show. It was really nice and not expensive. After these 8 months I achieved a lot of goals. I have a C1 Level in spanish now, got lovely spanish and english friends to know, learned to live on my own (cooking, money Management...), got a nice tan and I learned a lot from my internship. I feel prepared for the university now. :) So don't be shy and make your own experience! :)
I will be back
August 22, 2015by: Sam G - Sioux Falls, SDI honestly had the best experience in Spain with the Euroace team! They all are so understanding and willing to help you no matter what! I can 100% recommend this program because the teachers were amazing, the family I lived with was awesome and the lifestyle was awesome. At one point I was going through some stuff and was having trouble adjusting and it was so easy to talk with the Euroace team and get help with what I was going through
Trip of a lifetime!
August 21, 2015by: Brianna KunfStudying abroad with Euroace provided me with one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Thanks to them, I was able to visit various cities throughout Spain during my stay, gain a better grasp of Spanish culture and language through fun, hands-on classroom activities, and experience total cultural immersion via my stay with a welcoming host-family. I especially enjoyed our bi-weekly intercambio language exchange sessions at local pubs in Valencia, as well as our scenic kayaking adventure. I would definitely recommend this program to anyone looking to study abroad in Spain!
Incredible!
August 20, 2015by: Brooke Leetham - BrookingsI thouroughly enjoyed my visit to Spain with the help from Euroace. They helped provide me with all of the opportunities I ever could have imagined doing. From class to field trips, weekends excursions to intercambio language exchanges. The home I was provided was lovely and I still stay in touch with my madre española. I would recommend this to anyone who wants an amazing experience in Spain!

Working abroad
October 28, 2014by: CatI chose this Spanish school as it offered students Spanish classes, a good social programme, cultural events and a weekly language exchange, which is a great way to make new friends when you're abroad. I made a lot of friends through this school, both Spanish and from other parts of the world. This school had a massive impact in transforming what could have been a potentially negative experience to an extremely positive and memorable one. There is a strong community spirit in the school and I would definitely recommend it to anyone moving to Valencia.
My internship abroad
October 26, 2014by: ninosh__I did in summer holidays an internsiph abroad in Valencia. The organization Euroace is verry good. They help you when you have a problem. Also you can do there a lot of new experience. After this you will know perosons from the whole world. So it is very interesting. Also the practice of spanish is very good. Because native Speaker are teaching you and that makes everything more easy for learning. I enjoyed Valencia so much and I will go back there. The city is amazing.
Valencia 2012
October 25, 2014by: Jesse - BrookingsI had a terrific time studying in Valencia. So much so that I returned a couple of years later to visit. With Euroace, we (my class) were forced to immerse ourselves in the Spanish culture and enjoyed every bit of it. Isa and Jose set up weekday trips around the city to see important cultural sites, such as the Fallas museum. We also had fun weekend activities like trips to Madrid, Toledo, and Barcelona as well as sailing and kayaking. They offered pointers on what to see and when to see it, but also let us explore the city on our own. The daily courses were fun and in-depth, but not in a way that was difficult. The teachers were able to integrate our daily experiences and weekly excursions with grammar lessons which made learning, and more importantly understanding, much easier.
Super friendly staff
October 22, 2014by: KristinaFlamenco night was a great experience. I chose this program because of its friendly prices.
They know how to make learning fun
October 22, 2014by: G. GolpiraEverything about this experience was memorable, but if I had to choose a front-runner, it would have to be the time that Euroace took the students to the Júcar River, located in one of the suburbs of Valencia, to do Kayaking. The beautiful landscapes, peaceful surroundings, and the wonderful company made this outing truly worthwhile! I chose the Euroace program because, not only was I looking to improve my Spanish, I was also very keen to experience full cultural immersion during my year abroad, understanding how Spaniards go about their daily lives, as well as realizing the importance of the country's various festivities. Euroace provided me with exactly the level of immersion I had envisaged. Having completed my Erasmus, I returned to the UK feeling feeling quite nostalgic for the wonderful few months I had spent in Valencia. Sharing accommodation whilst you're in a foreign country is the perfect way to make new friends from all walks of life, from other Europeans to international students. All residencies are located in the centre of the city, within close proximity of shops, popular tourist sights, and of course, the beach!
Incredibly beneficial
October 22, 2014by: LaingMemorable experience? Hmmm difficult to say I suppose what I really enjoyed most were the classes themselves- the really helped with my fluency, I met students from everywhere (from Korea, China and all across Europe and North America) and I could ask whatever questions about 'El español de la calle'. I chose the program essentially cause I was working there I needed a flexible and economic course. This was both the cheapest in town (with small classes) and there were plenty of classes to chose from.
Helped me to learn Spanish quickly and efficiently
October 22, 2014by: JillClasses and Excursions - a great mix of fun and learning. All well-priced and great fun! I needed to learn Spanish quickly, and wanted to meet new people. Euroace offered the number of hours per week for classes that I was looking for at a reasonable price. They were flexible with times for classes too. Very helpful!
Very much enjoyed the experience
October 22, 2014by: rnlajkoMemorable experience was the trip to Raquena. I chose the program to get working experience and get to know another culture. I had clean and cosy accommodations.
Great Spanish experience
October 15, 2014by: studentkAll Euroace staff is super friendly and does their best to look after their students. Cultural evenings and days out are well organised and are designed to get to know the Spanish culture and explore the local area. Euroace is a great place to get to know people. Thanks for the support. I enjoyed my 8 months in Valencia.
Sensational
October 14, 2014by: GhazSettling into a new life abroad can be an overwhelming experience for many; the combination of being away from home, facing a rapid culture change and having to adjust to speaking a foreign language on a daily basis no doubt sets its own challenges. Nonetheless, an experience with Euroace bypassed all of the above. With their utmost generosity, welcoming nature and first-rate academic teaching, (whereby classes are tailored to meet each individual requirement) my level of Spanish had improved immensely during my Erasmus year, in a stimulating yet relaxing environment. Euroace know how to make learning fun, and thanks to their meticulous teaching methods, I was then able to score high marks in my final year at University. Thank you for everything!!
Really excellent course suitable for students and people working in Spain too
October 14, 2014by: F.L.I studied with Euroace for about 4 hours a week over my 7 months in Spain and I found the classes incredibly beneficial (especially when I first arrived), fun and also a good opportunity to meet people (of all nationalities). The teachers (including directora, Isabel) were very experienced, approachable and fun (especially the irrepressible Claudia). There are a range of activities (typical Spanish as the locals say for example flamenco and excursions in Valencia and around) and a language exchange each week.
Best Year Of My Life!
October 14, 2014by: JBVLCSpanish classes with Euroace helped me to learn Spanish quickly and efficiently. Not only the language - but they also organized many excursions and events! Food festivals, wine festivals, tapas, Flamenco, Paddle surf - all their trips were reasonably priced, extremely fun and well organized. I also had a great chance to meet lots of new people and practice my Spanish at their weekly Language Exchange on Thursdays. All in all, a great experience. Euroace really helped to make my year abroad special and great fun! Academics: Classes were in small groups, very helpful and provided great opportunities to practice grammar and conversation. The teachers were very friendly, helpful and professional. Cultural Immersion: Euroace organized many excursions to nearby towns, festivals and shows - these trips were well organised, and very reasonably priced. They were always very fun, great value for money, and very interesting. Program Administration: Everyone working for Euroace and the Hostal where Euroace's office and classes are based were very friendly and helpful, and made me feel very welcome.
Best year of my life
October 14, 2014by: JBVLC - East KilbrideAfter living in Valencia for a year, I can honestly say it was the best year of my life! Euroace made it very easy for me to learn and practice Spanish, as well as helping me to meet new people at their language exchange on thursdays. Outwith the classes I attended many excursions, festivals and events with Euroace. They were very well organised, very fun and reasonably priced! All the staff and employees from Euroace and the hostal where euroace are based were so friendly and helpful! Thanks Euroace! I will definitely be back to visit! Miss you all already!
Friendly atmosphere! Professional Spanish teacher!
October 14, 2014by: Renata NandiI've very much enjoyed the Spanish course! Eurorace also organize many activities and trips so it's easy to get to know other people and practise your Spanish!
Valencia 2012
October 04, 2014by: Jesse Cameron - BrookingsEuroace made sure that all of us students had the opportunity to completely submerge ourselves in the Valencian culture not only on a professional level, but also on a personal level. There were organized outings for our group, but we also had the chance to interact Isa and Jose on personal levels when we were not in class. They provided us with the means to experience Valencia and the rest of Spain on our own time as we saw fit. The classroom learning was excellent and our teacher found ways to integrate grammar and vocab into both our daily lives and into the organized outings.
Valencia
September 29, 2014by: KingsI absolutely loved my experience in Valencia with Euroace. Everyone was very friendly and very helpful. Aside from the classes, they set up fun excursions to different places, but they will also invite you do more personal things if you are interested. My living situation was perfect. I was close to bus stops as well as the subway, so traveling was made easy. Plus, Nothing was too far you couldn't walk. On top of that, there was little fear of me being robbed or anything while there - that doesn't mean you shouldn't take the necessary precautions. Lastly, I did have some trouble there with my eyes, so I went to the doctor and was able to get medicine and everything easily. Overall it was a wonderful experience that I wouldn't change for the world.
Internship and perfect Spanish lessons
September 29, 2014by: Nicole B.My time in Valencia was so great! I did an internship in the morning and I did a Spanish Language Course in the evening. I got private lessons at the weekend. So it was perfectly based for my spanish-level. Because every time when I had a question I could ask anybody from the organization or my Spanish teacher. I'm so grateful for this 4 great weeks in Valencia. I met a lot of new people and I improved my Spanish. Thank you!
My Time in Spain
January 16, 2014by: foofie03The host moms are amazing here but the academic placement was not ideal as well as the organization of the program.
Valencia -The experience of a lifetime.
October 28, 2013by: Ghazaleh Golpira - LondonWords cannot describe the incredible, unforgettable and life-changing experience I encountered in Valencia through Euroace during my Erasmus year abroad. From the people I have met, friends I have made, to the lessons I have learnt and the cultural immersion I have faced, every single moment and every single memory has been a special one which, without a doubt, will remain with me for a lifetime. I highly recommend this exchange opportunity to anyone who wishes to improve their linguistic proficiency in a relaxed yet stimulating environment, whilst simultaneously cementing friendships that will forever be close to one's heart. Thank you Euroace for everything!
The class time was used very wisely
June 27, 2013by: Maddie KileyIt was hard sometimes but it was good to be learning rather than reviewing. We learned a lot, in a short time. I have seen my own improvement a lot in daily conversations. Academics: We needed homework and reaction papers every week. The class time was used very wisely . I learned a lot in every category. I think this course was a great experience. I wouldn't change anything. I learned a lot, and worked hard while having fun. Living Situation: I loved my host mom and would recommend her again. I loved being with a host family. Cultural Immersion: Oceanogràfic is the best. Flamenco the least. I really enjoyed all field trips. Great stay in Valencia and I'd love to return. Program Administration: I love the relationships I've built with my host mom and she definitely improved my stay. Seriously, this was a great experience. I wouldn't change what we learned and discovered.
Me encanta mushisimo!
June 27, 2013by: Josh JohnsonLoved Isa and the program. I hope to keep connections! <3 Academics: Great materials. Isa is a great teacher, mentor, and friend. Equally worked on comprehension, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation. But have people loosen up, the kids can go out with certain nights. Living Situation: Mucha love to Sefa. Greatest house mother of the program. Cultural Immersion: No fui Piragüismo. I liked Madrid most, least Albufera/Reina Sofia Make other museums in Madrid Mandatory. Program Administration: Love the EuroAce team. Isa and José were VERY supportive. Prada museum and Gaudi House
I Felt Like Everyone Was Around My Level
June 27, 2013by: Anna S.We reviewed a lot of tenses but we needed to because we all didn't know them very well. I felt like everyone was round my level. Living Situation: I loved Pilar. :) She felt like my real Mom. Cultural Immersion: I loved Barcelona and Intercambio night. I really didn't like the Manises. Program Administration: I felt like I trusted them and could go to them if I had problems.
Enjoyed all our conversations in class!
June 27, 2013by: AnonymousASometimes I would feel behind everyone else, but I think that just made me improve more! I really enjoyed all of our conversations in class! Academics: I think it would have been interesting to learn a little about Spain's history. I learned so much and had a lot of fun, but sometimes I couldn't go out because of all of our homework. Living Situation: My accommodation couldn't have been better! Cultural Immersion: I loved our 2 optional excursions - I think they were both a great way to see another aspect of Spain. I didn't like the Museo Artista Fallero. Program Administration: I feel like I had a close relationship with EuroAce and they helped me a lot!
I Would Do It Again In A Heartbeat
June 26, 2013by: Chelsea T.Sometimes I felt the course parts were very easy. For the most part, there were some things I already knew about. It was a good review though. I loved my family, the classes! Everything was great!! I would do it again in a heartbeat. Academics: The materials used in class were very thorough. Though, sometimes I wish we would have worked on a little harder subjects and talked more in class. However, towards the last few weeks it got better. Living Situation: I really liked my mom. She was very nice and cooked great food! Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Barcelona the most! I loved everything about this city! The museums, people too! I also loved VELA. It was so interesting to learn how to do it. Enjoyed least - the ceramics museum - just wasn't my thing. Program Administration: I think EuroAce was very accommodating. They helped you out with anything and everything could've needed.
Great Class! Interesting Discussions!
June 26, 2013by: AnonymousThe class I was placed in was adequate. I learned a lot though, and the class was great. I feel that I learned something new every day, and the topics discussed were interesting. Living Situation: Everything was lovely. our host mom was amazing and every day we were more than accommodating. Cultural Immersion: The activity I enjoyed the most was Intercambio because we were given the opportunity to practice our Spanish while helpin others with English. I also met a lot of new people. All activities were great, equally. Program Administration: Isabel and Jose were great. They treated us very well, and I felt very welcomed. I feel that they supported us and definitely made our stay easier.
Great Leadership!
June 26, 2013by: AnonymousThis has been an amazing experience thanks to all professors involved. Great leadership! Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Barcelona the most and the Museo Fallero the least. (It wasn't big enough! :)) Program Administration: EuroAce has been very accommodating and hospitable.
The First Week Was Rough
June 25, 2013by: AnonymousThe first week was rough, I wished we started learning tenses and grammar right away. Academics: For class A, I wished we had more talking time to practice what we were learning. I wished we worked on it more. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed intercambio, Barcelona y sailing. Did not enjoy Albufera much. Program Administration: They have supported and helped me in making my stay easier.
Better Understanding
June 25, 2013by: Jim M.At first, I felt that it wasn't adequate, but as the class progressed, I definitely felt more comfortable as I begun to undertand more and participate more in the discussions. We discussed many different topics and advanced grammar methods that were new. Academics: The materials used in class have been more than enough and are greatly appreciated for future reference for vocabulary and topics. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Barcelona the most. It was a great city with much to do and I've had a lot of free time to see the place we wanted. I enjoy Manies the least mainly because I was not feeling well, and I did not really understand the ceremonies as much. I would've rather done something more active. Program Administration: EuroAce was there and very supportive. It was nice to have Jose or Isabel to go to if O needed with the help of Chris and Kaylee The possibility of another visit to another town, like Granada on one of the weekends.
My Program
June 25, 2013by: Daniel S.It was really good! Living Situation: My host mother was AMAZING! Everything was great! Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Intercambio the most! Program Administration: It was a close relationship. They have supported me and helped me in making my life easier during my stay.
Learned Something New
June 25, 2013by: AnonymousI learned something new everyday. Academics: Isabel was AWESOME! There had been enough materials used in class. Cultural Immersion: I liked El Bioparc but I do not believe it was related culturally to our visit here. The intercambio was the BEST. I felt I learned the most culturally and in speaking. Program Administration: They were all AWESOME and made me feel comfortable enough to ask any question (even the stupid ones).

Something New
June 25, 2013by: Erin K.I learned something new everyday. They offered a lot of different and fun activities for all the people. This trip gave a very good overview of what Spain has to offer. Academics: The materials used in has been enough. She (our teacher) conformed to our levels well. Living Situation: The teachers showed a lot of care and well-being, and they only wanted the best for us. Cultural Immersion: I really enjoyed Toledo, I wish we could have stayed lober. I didn't enjoy the Manises as much! Program Administration: I felt like they gave help when I needed it.
New Learnings
June 25, 2013by: Sara B.Every day contained new words and phrases. Academics: It was a nice divide between grammar and culture. Pronunciation is where I need a lot of work. Teachers were always willing to help with questions. Cultural Immersion: I liked Barcelona the most because of the artists and I liked Manises the least, but it was still good. It was all good! Program Administration: I was able to completely trust EuroAce with any help they gave me. I liked how we were able to have help when we needed, yet had enough freedom to discover Spain on our own.
I Felt Like The Course Was Challenging
June 25, 2013by: Elizabeth B.I felt like the course was challenging but nit so hard that I couldn't understand the concepts that we studied. Everything seemed to be at an adequate level. For the most apart, I learned something new every day. There were some things that I already knew but sometimes it's good to review concepts. Academics: Isa did an excellent job as we always seemed to end the discussions at the perfect time. It was enough and varied with different books. Also, I felt as if we could have done more pronunciation and more technological mediums of learning. Living Situation: I felt very comfortable with everything. I am not used to having roommates but overall, everything was fine. Cultural Immersion: I really enjoyed Barcelona but did not enjoy the Museo Fallero as much as the others because I didn't feel connected to the festival. Program Administration: I could really talk to the leaders if I needed to, so I think they treated us excellently.
I Was Not Over My Head
June 25, 2013by: Carrie A.I was not over my head and I continued to learn everyday. Academics: We used many worksheets and exercises with repetition of the subject. it was good practice. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Madrid and the Oceanografico the most. I enjoyed the flamenco the least and several hours at the museums. Jose and Isa were always on time and ready to take us to places. Program Administration: It was a close relationship, but in the beginning everyone could of helped us with directions better.
It Was A Little Hard At First
June 25, 2013by: Kali K.At first it was a little hard because I hadn't had a Spanish class for a year. Academics: Isa is a great teacher, I learn a lot. But there were too many worksheets. I would have liked to review all of the tenses on the 1st day of class to use them the whole time. Cultural Immersion: I've enjoyed Madrid and Oceonografic very much and Manises the least. Program Administration: I felt they did everything possible to help me and make me comfortable.
I Learned Something New Everyday
June 25, 2013by: Allyssa Z.I feel that taking in class helped a lot but the content was just review for me. I learned something new everyday but again the topics were review for me. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed the Museo Fallero the most, and the Bioparc the least. The Bioparc was nice to learn names of animals but otherwise, I have seen a zoo before. Program Administration: You guys were a great help! Thank you!

Vocabulary was awesome
June 25, 2013by: Jacob LammersI think I've seen a lot of this stuff already, but I wasn't using it correctly. Vocabulary was awesome I definitely learned something new everyday. Academics: I think the materials used were a bit limited, I personally didn't like the building very much. Estafania was an awesome teacher. Cultural Immersion: Madrid is the best, Bioparc the worst. Program Administration: I believe the relationship with the school was very good.
Something New learned Daily
June 25, 2013by: Michelle OswaldI learned new things everyday. Cultural Immersion: I didn't go to Paella and Flamenco. We needed way more time at the Oceanogràfic (most liked) because we only had 2 hours - we went to that later than all the other things and didn't have time to see everything since we watched the dolphin show. I didn't like the Ceramics Museum in Manises. Program Administration: They were very helpful and made sure we had everything we needed.
I am more confident
June 25, 2013by: KarinI feel like there was a perfect blend of new and old for me to review and grow. We talked about more challenging topics, which was interesting. I also love learning grammar (even when frustrating). Academics: The discussion, worksheets, excursions, and movie came together well. The class/teacher felt relaxed and we talked about what we wanted to or needed to but never had a wasted moment :) I would prefer a little less vocabulary (like sports, etc.) because I can use a dictionary for that. I prefer the other areas in class. Please tell students ahead of time about excursions so they can wear appropriate clothes. Living Situation: I feel like all of them were very welcoming and trustworthy. I could ask about questions or concerns without problems. I just had some host mom problems; so maybe you could ask about those–I know I'm not the only one. Cultural Immersion: No opinion for Flamenco and Paella. But I like Barcelona the most for the free time, Park Güell and Gaudí in general. I least liked Oceanogràfic, we needed more time because I wanted to see more! :)
I enjoyed a lot
June 25, 2013by: Colleen McNamaraI believe the course level and materials used were good. I feel like it was similar subjects to the other classes. But I enjoyed it a lot more. Academics: The materials were good. I enjoyed the conversation part of the class. Cultural Immersion: I liked the trips a lot! I enjoyed Bioparc, Madrid/Toledo, Oceanogràfic, Museo Fallero, and Barcelona the most. I didn't go to Paella. I found Manises the least enjoyable. Program Administration: The EuroAce people helped us out a lot especially when I had questions about the town and different things. I enjoyed the program and the class. There wasn't much support in the city from our teachers from SDSU but great help from EuroAce.
I have increased my Spanish vocabulary
June 25, 2013by: Hillary Schlake(Learned something new) la mayoria de los días sí, pero a veces no. (I have increased) más vocabulario. Academics: The course está bien. Demasiado sobre el politico. Cultural Immersion: Oceanogràfic: Mejor Manises: Peor Program Administration: It was close relationship with EuroAce, pero mis propias maestros no.
I did learn something new
June 25, 2013by: Cole BrewerI did learn something new. Academics: Materials were adequate more or less, but I wish that we would have had a book or other review material to review tenses and conjugations (and conjugations of vosotros). Cultural Immersion: Most enjoyed: Madrid Least enjoyed: Manises, but it was still interesting Program Administration: There was plenty of support, and I feel like I was helped a lot. The only thing that none of us liked was how we had to find our own way home the first night, but I think that was more the fault of our professor, not EuroAce
I learned a lot of new things
June 25, 2013by: Kassie StormI learned a lot of new things. Academics: Materials have been enough. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed the Oceanogràfic the most and the Manises the least. Program Administration: EuroAce was awesome and did everything they could to make us happy but SDSU professors did worse than I would have expected.
Repetitive and informative
June 25, 2013by: Alyssa NebonThe level was adequate, though repetitive I learned a lot. Academics: I think that it would be helpful to have a workbook instead of worksheets. I love Esther she knew how to relate the material to our level. I enjoy conversation the most, I learned a lot. Living Situation: Barcelona hostel was interesting but not as good as a location or as nice as in Madrid. Cultural Immersion: Madrid/Toledo I enjoyed the most (was the best experience but maybe try to do less so that we can enjoy the city more) and Barcelona the least. Oceanogràfic: need more time Paella: very expensive Program Administration: I feel that EuroAce did a good job. I would have liked a lot more help the first night after being jet-lagged.
Repetitive
June 25, 2013by: Kelsey SchmidtAveces, un poco repetitivo. La mayoridad fue repetitivo. Cultural Immersion: lo más: Paella lo menos: Madrid/Toledo Program Administration: ! EuroAce was absolutely amazing!
Learned Something New Everyday
June 24, 2013by: Aleigha MackThe course level was adequate for me having learned something new everyday. Academics: I think the materials were good. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed most Madrid/Toledo. The least would be Manises. Program Administration: It was a close relationship and I felt they really wanted to help me learn.
I wish we spent less time over present tense.
June 24, 2013by: Anonymous ReviewerI wish we spent less time over present tense. Everyday we worked on grammar and also learned new phrases and useful vocab. I don't think that there was something missing in the program that would have made it better. Academics: I think the teacher has been able to present/organize the subjects according to class time. Living Situation: It would have been more fun to stay at a hostel, more open that has a bar and stuff that would be easy to meet new people. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Piraguismo the most and Albufera the least but it was still fun in El Mar. I wish we got more time on our weekend trips especially Toledo. Program Administration: I love everyone that works for EuroAce, so nice and funny. So easy to talk to you guys.
There is always something new to learn.
June 24, 2013by: AinsleyYa si Sabia alguna cosas, siempre algo a aprender. There is always something new to learn. Academics: Do I think that the materials used in class have been enough or very limited? Yes and No. Nowadays, people are pushing a lot of technology, but my philosophy is that sometimes simpler is better for learning. Living Situation: We both, Kala and I, marked non-smoking on our sheets and we told our host mom twice (once hinting and once more direct) that we don't like smoking, but her son still smoked when he stayed with us. We loved Pilar, but it should be stress about not-smoking. Pilar is an amazing cook and a wonderful host mother. Cultural Immersion: I would have liked more time in Madrid/Toledo and the activities I liked most was Piraguismo/Vel/Barcelona. I can't choose! But the activity I least liked was the flamenco but I think it's just because I was tired.
Learned Something New
June 24, 2013by: Emily H.I learned something new everyday. Academics: The materials used in class was enough. I wouldn't mind buying a book. Living Situation: Our mom was great and the beds were good. Cultural Immersion: I' enjoyed Peñiscola & Barcelona, but not much of Manises. Program Administration: Close relationship.
New Every Day
June 24, 2013by: Maria K.Even though some of it was a review, I still learned especially when it came to use certain tenses and our conversations helped me know when. I learned a lot about the culture/customs of Spain that I didn't know before and yes some of the material in the course I knew but I loved the review. The activities at times were a tad boring and too much walking and there was a lot spent at them where as the activities that were a lot of fun we didn't have much time. The EuroAce team was extremely supportive when it came to an issue with my host mom; I was extremely comfortable talking about it and knowing that they were there for me any time of the day. Academics: Estefania was amazing; Extremely patient with me when I was talking. I wish there could have been more vocabulary especially on words used in Spain. Living Situation: It was very good especially in Barcelona. Cultural Immersion: I did enjoy Madrid, Barcelona and Oceanografic. However, the latter I think needs more time for us to explore. Toledo was a tad boring. Maises, we only had the tour but not the factory. On the other hand, Manises factory was good but not much of the tour. Program Administration: Great job! keep giving students the opportunity to come and study here!
Learned New Things Everyday
June 24, 2013by: Megan N.At the beginning it was difficult for me, but it helped me to progress faster than I would have in the other class. I definitely learned new things everyday. It helped me to stay focused. This trip was really worth it. I am so happy I had the opportunity to come and see what Spain is all about. If I got the opportunity again, I'd definitely come back. Academics: We received plenty of material that I will continue to use once I return home. Living Situation: I really enjoyed this. Living with a family really helped me to understand the Spanish culture. Cultural Immersion: Barcelona was my favorite. I also really enjoyed Oceanografic and Bioparc. There was nothing I didn't enjoy! Program Administration: EuroAce helped with everything. I never had a question left unanswered. Had a wonderful time!
No topic felt old and boring
June 24, 2013by: Brooke AhlersI felt like I brushed up on some grammar I struggled with. I feel that I learned more details about everyday Spanish life. No topic felt old and boring. It's hard to tell how my Spanish has increased, I still need to pick and choose my verbs and their tenses better, but the reasons for them are clearer. Spanish feels more natural now. I was very satisfied with this experience. I could get help if I needed it and do things as a group, but I also had time for individual activities. I have so many great memories... Gracias! Academics: Having a native Valencian teacher was more helpful than any book. We covered a lot of subjects thoroughly and reviewed them periodically. I feel that many things were learned and processed in a short period of time. It was a little confusing that people who talked less than others got better grades. A more detailed explanation of how grades work would help. Living Situation: All we needed for hostels was a place to crash. Good locations. Cultural Immersion: Needed more time in Oceanográfic. I enjoyed more during the trips and Oceanográfic. And the least in Ceramics. I really enjoyed the little excursions. There were a variety of activities. Ceramics was interesting but a tad boring with the guide. I did think there was plenty of churches. A couple less would have been ok. Program Administration: It was nice to explore on our own. It was sometimes frustrating but it helps to get out there and get lost and learn. But, if we needed advice or help, Isabel and José were always ready and willing to help. Always had helpful suggestions. I really can't think of anything missing in the program. We did a variety of activities all the time. I saw and did amazing things I will never forget.
Even the small details were still significant
June 24, 2013by: Ashley MarcI think the level of the course was adequate for me, it made me apply myself. I learned something new everyday, even if it was small details it was still significant. Sometimes other people in my class spoke so much I couldn't add a word in. Academics: Very good job, loved the games, helped me learn 2x as much. Useful if we had more worksheets that explain the exceptions to certain things. Cultural Immersion: Most liked: Oceanografic Least: Ceramic Museum I like going places without "guides." Program Administration: I thought they helped a lot and were really nice and welcoming.
There needs to be more division between young and the old
June 24, 2013by: Anonymous6The course was great, but I think there needs to be more division in the lower class, because it was hard for the youngest and really easy for the oldest. But I couldn't decide whether I have learned enough or a lot. Academics: We've had enough materials in class. The tenses should have been spread out, not lumped into the last week. Comprehension more. Por y por a. Living Situation: My hostmom yelled at me daily and was never pleased with anything I did. She questioned me on all sorts of things that was not her business. Cultural Immersion: Vela is the most enjoyable and Albufera the least. Program Administration: I would have liked a list of museums and such the first day, not the book. I felt like I did not know what was available to do in my free time.
I could always improve and I need more practice
June 23, 2013by: Anonymous5I think it was a good review for me, because it allowed me to capitalize on the material, but I could have been challenged more. I have learned more slang, which can really enhance a conversation. I could always improve and I need more practice Academics: I wish we could have practical talking more. I think we have fairly worked on comprehension, vocabulary, grammar and pronunciation, especially with the journal from Chris and Angie. Living Situation: I was very pleased with everything that was included in this trip. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Piragüismo the most, and Albufera the least. Program Administration: I think they gave us enough independence to learn the culture.
I would have liked more practice worksheets
June 23, 2013by: Anonymous4I would have liked more practice worksheets, and I think that some of the time could have been spent more on the difficult parts and less on present tense. Academics: The materials used in class was not quite enough, I would have liked more practice worksheets. And the teacher could have spent more time on the difficult parts and less on present tense. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Piragüismo the most, and Vela the least. Program Administration: It was a close relationship.
I was happy to have gone over the topics we did
June 23, 2013by: Anonymous3I needed the review of basic topics, and I was happy to have gone over the topics we did. I especially enjoyed the new vocabulary we learned local to Spain. I improved very much from the amount of speaking both inside and outside of class, as well as the work on sentence structure, my speaking ability has improved immensely. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Flamenco the most. Albufera was my least favorite. I would suggest leaving earlier in the day for trips, right after school instead of waiting until later in the day. Program Administration: Ester was a wonderful profé and Isa and José did extremely well with the choice of activities, quality of accommodations, etc.
This review was really helpful
June 23, 2013by: Anonymous2There were topics we already covered, but I needed t he review, so it was really helpful. Academics: Me gustaria mas tiempo. Menos tarea. jijiji Living Situation: I stayed with Pilar Estruch, and her son stayed with us. He smoked in the apartment even after we talked to Pilar about it. It really bothered me, and I repeatedly told him we didn't like it. Cultural Immersion: Barcelona me encanta. Me gustaria mas tiempo aqui. No fue Piragüismo. Program Administration: Me encanta esa programa -- Yo pienso que hay bastante ayuda y apoya. I definitely enjoyed my time here and will recomment the program to other students.
New things learned in my review
June 23, 2013by: Megan GIf it wasn't new that I learned everyday, it was review that I needed. I feel that my Spanish has increased a lot, still not always sure on specific tenses. Academics: I think that there was enough materials in class. I like the vocabulary the best and now my pronunciation is a Spain/Argentina mix. The course is almost complete, although maybe some future tense work. But vocabulary was seldom towards the end - maybe a good thing though. Living Situation: I love my host mother. She was perfect! Cultural Immersion: Most enjoyable would be Barcelona and Piragüismo; least was Madrid/Toledo. Perfect for Spain, but good for other Spanish countries. Program Administration: Really supportive and close - easy to talk to. I thought we had a month of filled time which was nice; maybe more time here.
My Spanish has improved very much
June 23, 2013by: Anonymous1The amount of vocabulary was crazy and interesting. I feel that my Spanish has improved very very much! Academics: A lot of worksheet but its the best/easy way for review. Living Situation: Youth hostels or room with more roommates would have been fun. Host Mom was the best possible. Cultural Immersion: Barcelona is the most enjoyable, Flamenco the least. It would have been nice to learn the dance. Program Administration: EuroAce was amazing and wonderful. Although spending/getting more free time on trips would have been fun.
I have learned a lot despite different levels in a class
June 23, 2013by: AnonymousBut I would have liked to have another level of class because it was difficult with many people at different levels. Yes, I think I learned a lot of new info including nouns, tenses, and verbs. I took good notes so I feel I have learned a lot. Academics: I enjoyed the teaching style with what we had. I wish pronouns would have been explained better, but it's a difficult subject. I feel like I had a lot of room for improvement and worked equally on all. I think I learned a sufficient amount in 5 weeks, more than I thought was possible. Living Situation: I really enjoyed my stay! Host Mom and all! Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Oceanografic the most, and Museo Artista Fallero the last. Program Administration: I think everyone involved did an amazing job. Thank you!
Revisar los y mejorar
June 21, 2013by: Jessica DerbyPues, ya sabia mas o menos todos los temas. Pero siempre hay que revisar los y mejorar. La jerga y frases son buenos. It's hard to gauge the level right now. I feel way more fluent, but I also feel like I might loose it when I go back. Also, I wonder if there are levels at which one improves more or less. I would like to say how much I have appreciated all the hospitality from Isa and José. José went out of his way to help us play basketball in the city and helped me when I got hurt. Isa is simply amazing and a GREAT teacher. The fact that they accompanied us on excursions and were a constant presence helped us so much. THANK YOU!! Academics: Creo que tenemos bastantes papeles. posiblemente demasiados. Mas que todas mis clases a sosu. Isa es una profesor muy muy buena Maybe an interaction between the different classes. Maybe. Living Situation: I say very good because although my first house wasn't 100% satisfactory, we changed, and it was much better! EuroAce was very supportive of it all, which is the most important! Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Piragüismo most because I really enjoy physical activity. I enjoyed Bioparc & Oceanografic the least, I can see a zoo anywhere. I enjoyed the more cultural activities like Albufera and Flamenco and Museo more. I think special things like zoos should be optional. I don't even like animals. Program Administration: EuroAce, Isa and Jose have gone so far out of their way to make us feel at home and make the most of our trip. I couldn't be more grateful! I would have liked more opportunities to meet with native Spanish speakers. Maybe another optional conversation night? Everything about this program was amazing. Anyone who doesn't take advantage of EuroAce's opportunities is missing out!
It never hurts to work on the basics
June 21, 2013by: Jesse CameronIt was still beneficial though I really have the basics down. It never hurts to work on the basics. Academics: Enough materials were used. The teacher was organized most of the time, although we did get off topic every now and then. I would've liked to work on verb tenses, more than ser vs. estar. We spent a lot of time on just that. Living Situation: Seca is la leche. Cultural Immersion: Barcelona the most, Albufera the least. Program Administration: It was excellent. The weekly meetings with Chris and Angie were good, too. I wish we could've spent more time on verb tenses, instead of just 3-4 days covering all of them.
It was over my head at times
June 21, 2013by: TashaIt was over my head at times but I don't think I would have enjoyed the other class. I just wish there would have been more suggestions for us and I wish it would have been longer. Academics: I think some material was repetitive and not useful but some was very helpful. Living Situation: Our first house was not okay. We really liked Olga. Cultural Immersion: I really enjoyed Barcelona and Madrid. I also like sailing and kayaking. I didn't like Toledo and Albufera. I really enjoyed the trips but some activities were lacking. Program Administration: They were extremely helpful during our move.
I did not feel challenged
June 21, 2013by: Mary FaberI didn't feel like I learned nearly as much as I have in other Spanish courses, and I did not fell like I was being challenged. I learned a lot of new things, but it was very repetitive of what I learned at SDSU. I think my level improved but not as much as it could have. Academics: I think we spend too much time correcting homework at the beginning of the day, but after that everything went smoothly. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Piragüismo and the weekend trips the most. My least favorite were Albufera and Flamenco. Program Administration: I feel like they have helped me in every way they could.

Good internship
June 21, 2013by: Jacqueline PeñaThe internship was quite adequate, and new things can be learned from. Academics: I have been assigned tasks, but there were moments where there were not many of them Program Administration: Isabel and Jose were very helpful. Great treatment, and EuroAce made my stay easy and enjoyable. :)
Focused on the basics
June 21, 2013by: Kacey MeekesI learned a lot about the basics again but it would have been nice to have more time on tougher topics. I felt that we spend too much time on some basics so it left less time for other tenses. I have increased my vocabulary tremendously. I always struggle when speaking but I can think of sentences faster and comprehend better than when I arrived. Academics: The materials used in class were enough, with the teacher able to organize subjects. But instead of handing out papers separately, make a packet with all papers for the week in there. Cultural Immersion: Madrid & Barcelona: Need more free time or need to leave from Valencia sooner ex. have people bring stuff to class and leave after. I enjoyed piragüismo most and Albufera. I did not like the dirty beach. Program Administration: Everything I needed and had a question about was taken care of immediately. Materials used in class was just enough. What's missing though is more time on subjunctive and going outside of the class to learn vocabulary.
EuroAce is great!
June 20, 2013by: Summer LunEuroAce is great at checking up and making sure we are having a good time. Academics: There were times when there were no projects to do and I would be wasting time on Faceboook or other things. My project ranged a lot from marketing and advertising. I've made great friends in the company. Program Administration: It was a close relationship. Isabel and Jose were more like friends than supervisors. And they helped me a lot when I was sick the first week here.
I could have more tasks done
June 20, 2013by: David SmithCould have been more technical and more involved. Academics: I was given specific assignments but a lot of time doing nothing, I could have had more tasks. I have made great friends. Program Administration: Very nice people.

New things learned
June 20, 2013by: Felipe WatanabeI've learned new things about the operations of NGO and its relations to Economics. Academics: I have made great friends in the company. Program Administration: Good relationship.
Learned Something New
June 20, 2013by: McLeod KingsleyI have learned professionally during the internship. Academics: I would have a lot of tasks, but at times, things got slow. So there wasn't a lot to do for the day. I have made great friends in the company. Program Administration: I was treated well. They are a class act. Always helpful and got involved in daily activities as well as in things that didn't have to deal with work but establishing long-term friendships. It would have been better if we had organized trips out of the city.
Learning Something New
June 19, 2013by: Austin S.I did learn something new everyday, and there was also much repetition. However, it is good to review subjects that I know because I need to practice them more often. Academics: We learned much about the vocabulary and conjugations, but we didn't as much about the grammar and/or pronunciation. I would have liked to have the class involve more discussion. Living Situation: My host family was very nice and helped me with my Spanish. Cultural Immersion: I enjoyed Peñiscola the most because I liked how at the beginning we went to relax and play volleyball. It helped to get to know everyone better. But I didn't enjoy Manises much since it was slightly boring. Program Administration: I felt that if I needed help. EuroAce would be willing to help me. I would suggest to wait before doing the tour of Valencia. I felt that we were all tired from the flight and overwhelmed at the moment. It was difficult to remember everything. Otherwise, everything was perfect.
Absolutely!
June 19, 2013by: JordanThe program was absolutely adequate. It showed me a lot more about the teaching experience and the children. Academics: I had to create my own work. I worked with students and find help for students. I worked on different departments from teaching to organizing portfolios and managing sports. I also made great friends in the company. Program Administration: I had a close relationship with EuroAce. They helped in making my stay easier. It would have been great if there was more excursions like visits to museums and the arts.
My internship was very beneficial
June 19, 2013by: MyraMy internship was very beneficial and now I understand the importance of a researching a country's culture when doing business with them. My host company had lots of paperwork and I learned a lot of legal procedures. Academics: I've had specific tasks at times. But at other times there were tasks I had to wait on someone else to finish. My host company (Ana specially) made sure that I knew what I was working on and why. I worked in the accounting and data protection department. I have made great friends in the company. Program Administration: EuroAce was very friendly, helpful and supportive. One thing missing in the program that could be made better is not to arrive on a Sunday where everything was closed. I would have liked a day to walk around to find EuroAce.
I have learned many new things
June 19, 2013by: MarcusI have learned many new things that will benefit me. I was able to gain experience in the field that I am going into and learn new things. I thought I learned a lot and I feel that the experience I got was very practical. Academics: At the beginning, it was really vague but as my internship developed so did my responsibilities and assignments. The host company was awesome to work with. I taught and worked at the reception desk performing social work. They are great to work with and I have made great friends in the company. Program Administration: They were great to work with.
Great Place to Work!
June 18, 2013by: Sara M.Great place to work! Great atmosphere! Future place for outgoing people, not introverts. I learned a lot of new vocabulary, new mentalities and points of view. I learned a lot from working with so many different people and having good frequent interaction with some of the people in-charge. Academics: I love my co-workers and made great friends in the company. I have been tasks and assignments and also had moments that I wasn't doing anything. There was workload flux with tourism flows, but always managed and found things to do. I worked in reception to cleaning to cooking to writing. Cultural Immersion: It would be great if we can have group activities at the start of our stay rather than middle or end. Program Administration: EuroAce helped but we didn't really need that much help.

What inspired you to travel abroad?
I originally came to live in Spain two years ago to improve my Spanish and also to work as an English teacher. I found out about Euroace through a friend and felt excited about the opportunity of working in both my native and second language, and at the same time helping students from all over the world to enjoy their study abroad experience and the Spanish culture.

What inspired you to travel abroad?
Isabel and I were friends at university and this is where Isabel proposed the idea of starting a business involving international students studying in Valencia. Since then, we have adapted our original ideas and improved them to form the Euroace you see today. Our founding ideas were that we wanted to create something that we lacked when studying abroad ourselves.
