The Medical Program in Paje, Zanzibar, is based at a nearby hospital serving the local community. It is perfect for pre-med students who want to gain hands-on experience. The clinic focuses on infectious diseases prevalent in many parts of Africa. Volunteers assist in diagnosing and treating conditions such as HIV, malaria, tuberculosis, pneumonia, STDs, typhoid fever, and others.

As the clinic serves a disadvantaged community, patients present various healthcare issues, including non-communicable diseases, trauma, burns, and domestic abuse cases.
