American University of Sharjah (AUS)

The American University of Sharjah (AUS) International Exchange Office offers study abroad programs that promote cultural diversity and meaningful international engagement and interaction across its campus. Established in January 2010, the IXO welcomed in 2013 about 150 incoming study abroad students and hundreds of visiting international scholars, delegations, and guests. IXO also sent 270 AUS students to study abroad for a semester or as part of a faculty-led tour. They offer 46 minors and 26 majors at the undergraduate level, and 13 master's degree programs in a range of academic divisions: School of Business Administration, College of Engineering, College of Arts and Sciences, and College of Architecture, Art and Design. Although United Arab Emirates' official language is Arabic, the language of instruction for the courses at AUS is English. All administrative functions and classes are conducted in English.
