Founded in 1904, American Farm School is an independent nonprofit educational institution catering for the needs of Greece and the Balkan areas. We are committed to implementing our founder's vision of equipping students with knowledge and skills through different theories and practices. We are divided into five educational divisions – Primary School, Secondary School, Perrotis College of Agriculture, Environment and Life Sciences, and Adult Education and Research. The Greek Summer program, established in 1970, is designed for students from the United States and for international teenagers interested in learning about and discovering Greek culture. We expose students to rural Greek living and community service projects. This summer experience will help students to fully understand cultural differences, which in turn will help them grow and acquire skills and resources.
