Volunteer in Western Mongolia through Altai Blue Horizon's Summer Program!

Running from 9th June to 9th July 2025, our Summer Program offers free, inclusive education to 240 children in the remote Bayan-Ulgii Province. As a volunteer, you work with local teachers and NGO members to deliver fun educational activities that boost learning, creativity, and community spirit.

Altai Blue Horizon Summer Program 2025

The Altai Blue Horizon Teacher Exchange Program offers a unique opportunity to make an impact and learn in Western Mongolia. Volunteers can join for one or two semesters and teach English or Mongolian at public schools in Ulgii town or rural villages. The role involves supporting local teachers, sharing new teaching methods, and mentoring students from grades 8 to 12.

The program welcomes experienced teachers, university students, and those with strong language skills who want to make a difference.

Our team offers guidance from arrival in Ulaanbaatar to settling in Ulgii, including help with visa and immigration matters. Volunteers stay with host families who provide accommodation and meals (free), offering an authentic cultural experience. 

This program enhances education in the area, builds lasting connections, and promotes cultural exchange. Join us and contribute to educational development while experiencing life in one of Mongolia’s most remote regions!
