Our Older Teens trips are specially designed with older teens in mind. They are all about a hands-on approach to travel where we go beyond the casual tourist experience, take public transportation, and learn how life is in each place we visit. They provide a unique and carefully crafted itinerary that allows for more challenges and independence. We encourage teens on these trips to learn how to use a Eurail pass along with other handy travel skills so that they become confident and able to take on even more of the world in the future! This is one of our most popular Older Teens trips and combines a great mixture of classic European cities, mountain adventure, and Mediterranean beaches. Tuscany is at the heart of Italy’s rich culinary traditions, offering a diverse range of flavors—from fresh truffles and fine wines to handmade pasta and premium meats. At FCAS, we provide an immersive, hands-on culinary experience with intimate home cooking classes held four days per week (approx. 4 hours per session). Classes take place in a traditional Italian private kitchen, accommodating small groups of up to eight participants, and conclude with a shared meal. Each day, participants will have the opportunity to master 4 to 5 exquisite dishes, building a repertoire of approximately 65 delectable recipes each month. Language is not a barrier, as all classes include complimentary English interpretation (Italian-to-English translation). All of our students are either native English speakers or proficient in English as a second language. - Upon course completion, students will receive a Certificate of Attendance.
