Study Abroad UK

At first my parents were worried about booking with a British agency, but the website looked real cute. I got talking to Julie on the email and she helped me to apply. Applying was easy but you have to send your photos to England. I was amazed I got details of my family so fast and I could IM them. Some of my friends going with other schools had been waiting months to hear about their family. My English family were great, they were vegetarian like me, they put a big bear on my bed to welcome me to my new home. I found the cars very small and it was weird being on the wrong side of the road. This organization does care about you and I loved the trips. We went to London and I got to see inside a real castle. I would recommend you travel with them and that you ask for Julie, she was very nice...

I had a great time in the UK! My host family was very welcoming and friendly and made me feel really part of the family! I am so grateful for their generosity and kindness throughout my time in England. I attended a Sixth Form school which was excellent. The school had international students in the years before I arrived so they were well used to making students from other countries welcome. I made so many friends and the teachers were also great and very relaxed, with less formality than in the US. I studied many new and interesting subjects - psychology was my favorite as well as art and photography. I got to see many different parts of the UK. Every month there was a different trip. I went to London (brilliant), Warwick Castle and Stratford-upon-Avon. To sum up, it was a great year and I am glad I made the effort and took the initiative to study in England. I recommend Study Abroad UK. They provided the services they promised and were less expensive than other organizations.
