Spoleto has by far been the most rewarding experience I have ever taken part in. It changed my life. I learned so much about the Italian culture, music, and the different places that we visited. The best part of the program was making friends that will last a life time! I truly love my roommates, class members, teachers, and advisors! The trip is what you make it! I did my best to make sure I never slept in so that I wouldn't miss touring the city or eating breakfast at a local cafe. I consumed my days with shopping, gelato eating, touring, and having many laughs with my fellow classmates. I took advantage of everything this program had to offer, and I would highly recommend this life changing experience to anyone who is interested. Thank you so much Spoleto Study Abroad staff and students for allowing me to have the trip and experience of a life time. I hold you all very close in my heart!

This program is growth giving and influential in many ways. If you have talent in the arts or music it is a fabulous way of developing your god given gifts with people who appreciate them. I made wonderful friends, both from the US and from Italy. The town feels like a second home, even now thinking back upon my experience. In my voice lessons everyday I remember the things I learned in Italy. The convent that you stay in is beautiful and will spiritually move you. I hope you invest in this trip!! From Assisi to Siena and everything in between, this summer study abroad experience is an unforgettable one! If you are interested in meeting people from all over the US with a vast range of talents and embracing Italian culture, then Spoleto Study Abroad is for you! Not to mention, Italian cuisine is phenomenal.

Spoleto Study Abroad has opened multiple doors for me. I am now more educated, cultured, and out-going than I have ever been! The weeks spent here have enriched my views on life, and left a permanent mark on me. One thing is for sure: saying arrivederci was not easy.

After my experience with the program ends, it will continue to affect my life. I'll stop to recall the moments of self-realization and amazement I felt in Spoleto. I'll continue to nurture my modes of thinking, seeing, and savoring for years to come.

I've been taking voice lessons for over eight years now. I can't begin to count the number of music teachers and directors I have known over the years. And in this short time, I have noticed a substantial improvement. Not only with my voice, but dramatically, I feel more comfortable with being myself when trying to portray a character. Over the years, I have attended several camps. Nothing has affected me the way Spoleto Study Abroad has. I feel I have made life-long friends, grown in areas of music, drama, philosophy, and maturity. I also have been immersed in a totally different culture than I am used to.

In Spoleto, old is glorified, restored and loved. This attitude makes me think that Spoleto is a paradise. Yet the town is not even the best thing about this trip. The classes, the professors, and my friends have a three-way tie for that place.

I've loved my experience here so much; the unique culture, the beautiful scenery, the friendly atmosphere, and most importantly, the teachers. I've attended a lot of art camps but I've never encountered a more solid and amazing faculty before. Every class is fun, different, and refreshing.

My experience with the Spoleto Study Abroad program has been amazing. Being able to learn new techniques for my singing and performing has been wonderful, but I think the best part was being able to experience a different culture. Being immersed in the Italian culture has allowed me to truly experience another lifestyle for the first time in my life. The slower pace of the Italians has allowed me to enjoy life for each moment, rather than always waiting for the next thing to happen. Being able to stop using things like cell phones and computers, both of which I am totally dependent on at home, has been liberating. I have been able to enjoy my time with the people I am with, as opposed to texting people constantly.

The students in Spoleto are very dedicated to their art and supportive and encouraging of each other. The helpful atmosphere of the faculty and students allowed me to further my knowledge and abilities.

&Another aspect of Spoleto Study Abroad that I found amazing is the faculty. I have never before been taught by such supportive, interesting, and enthusiastic people. Spoleto Study Abroad has been an absolutely incredible life-changing experience, and I encourage students to enroll in the program.

Everywhere you explore in Spoleto, you come up with something magical, like the convent. This experience has changed my life.

The daytrips to local towns were perfect. The Wednesday/Saturday travel schedule offers the perfect mix of both classes and adventure. Lorenzo Muti's history lessons were wonderful!
