Marbella Design Academy

It's amazing to go to a school where there are so many nationalities. You meet people from all over the world, and I find that this is very exciting because you meet so many different styles in personalities and artwork. Marbella Design Academy is a creative school, you can easily get inspired by the other students. I like the appearance of the Academy, it's very beautiful. You learn many different things, you don't only learn the facts in you own field (fashion graphic and interior) you learn many kinds of computer programmes. I like that.

Overall my experience at the Marbella Design Academy is very positive, I have learned a lot and have a very nice time. I am as well pleased with all the tutorials throughout the term.... All the projects are challenging and are giving me satisfaction when I have presented them well.

I like the fact that this Academy has got a relaxing atmosphere. The Marbella Design Academy is equipped with extremely friendly staff and tutors. They produce exciting courses and projects all year round.

Marbella Design Academy is a place where you can be your self. You don't have to act any different than what you normally do, because everyone respects you and encourage you to show and deliver your best.

MDA is more than a place of education, it is an all-round experience. There is an amazing atmosphere surrounding you putting you into a creative place that inspires you to get on with your work. As we are only a small number it's easy to get to know every student and I have made friendships here that i know I will keep a long time into the future. To me MDA is not a college, we are a family.

My name is Lisbeth, I am 21 years old, has muscular dystrophy and are therefore permanently in a wheelchair.

Just over a month ago I moved to southern Spain to study graphic design at the Marbella Design Academy.

The reason for choosing Marbella Design Academy was that I really wanted to travel and I would like to study something creative.

In this way I can do both, simultaneously.

Marbella Design Academy is a school where students and teachers are from around the world, but I am the first and only one sitting in a wheelchair.

We have different courses that challenge our creativity such as freehand drawing, photography and the various computer programs. The atmosphere at school is very open, all are friendly towards each other, and if we get a problem, there are people who can help us.

Marbella Design Academy is situated in a very small town where most of the students live. So after school gathered most of them downtown for some food and drink. Monda is a real Spanish town where you can really experience the Spanish culture, and where the only tourists are the students from Marbella Design Academy.

Although there as well may be some bumps along the way, am I able to move into town sitting in my wheelchair.

Before I left Denmark and came to Spain, there were obviously some practical things to be done, but despite that I'm really glad I took the plunge and went to Spain to study. I hope that there are several in my situation who dares to do the same in the future.

I have learned a lot a valuable skills and I hope I am able to learn more. I look forward to the 3rd year.

Marbella Design Academy is always a pleasurable place to come and work and learn in. Teachers have been helpful and informative, always knowing what they are talking about when teaching. It's encouraging to be in the Academy with so many creative people. Everyone's ideas are bright, and everyone's opinions are open-minded. Here we can let our creativity roam free.

The experiences I have gathered during this term have been very useful. When I started at the Marbella Design Academy, my graphically skills were very low. I have learned a lot and also gained the rhythm of working with a load-time and following a timeline.
It is interesting to work in groups and learn new things like photography and drawing.
In Marbella Design Academy I feel that I am in the correct path and upgraded my knowledge within the subjects studied.

Marbella Design Academy is an ideal place to study graphic design. The teachers are educating you to become a professional. The environment at the academy is nice and ideal for learning.

Being in an international environment really provides the students with a dynamic atmosphere. I've really enjoyed learning things from other people's viewpoints. I'm excited to see what is coming next of projects and lectures for me as a new student at the Academy!

This school is very supportive of international students, the scenery is a great inspiration and Marbella Design Academy has really opened my eyes about being on your own and working hard to achieve your goals.

I have been studying in Marbella Design Academy for 1 year and I am in my second year graphic design. I think that the Academy is great for those who want a friendly environment, and whether they are far from home you feel integrated with all students and teachers as everyone treats you equally. The international students also influence each other and allow us to be more open in our creativity. The tranquility within the Academy creates all the inspirations you need.

Marbella Design Academy has given me a lot of tools to use in my future, not only in how to use the different computer programs, but how to become a professional within my field.
It is not just the location that is inspiring, but also the people who studies here. It is great to be among such creative and interesting people.
It is a welcoming place with the great atmosphere that most creative people need and deserve.

What I love the most of the Marbella Design Academy is how close students grow to be. Since classes are really small there's always time for questions. Teachers treat students as people not as numbers and they really care about the students and their future as designers.

The academy provides really good fashion teachers. Who worked in the fashion business so they teach you how you can survive as a young fashion designer in the real world. You learn all the skills you need.
