Joining Hands, a registered non profit, was established in Nov 2006 with a goal to make volunteering a mass movement. Today our endeavors are focused towards Empowering Lives and Sustaining Livelihoods through credible and accountable volunteering. We are impact focused and facilitate internships/volunteering of individuals from colleges and universities across the world.
At Joining Hands, we place students/individuals in credible not-for-profit organizations committed to social change. We have more than 45 evaluated and credible partner NGOs that work at the grassroots level with diverse communities.
Joining Hands matches the abilities, skills and talent (including students from commercial, business and non-social educational backgrounds) with the needs of NGO, thereby enhancing the effectiveness of the students effort. Our volunteering-specific orientation as well as our structured monitoring process optimize the effectiveness of internships/volunteering and ensure that volunteering /internship is mutually beneficial. The mentoring role Joining Hands plays in guiding and evaluating the students effort ensures that the student always has support and access to a feed-back facility.

- Impact assessment of the internship/volunteering

Joining Hands will facilitate an internship project for you and cater it to match your education back ground, work experience, current degree, skill sets and personal preference.
Environment:
- Help in conducting Environment Education, raise awareness and encourage plantation drives at specific times in the year. Contact schools to promote involvement in plantations drives, waste managements and rain water harvesting.
Research:
- Initiate and/or conduct online/field research as per the interest and as required by the NGO.
You may sign up individually, as couples or in groups. For internships, it will be required that you are a student or have just completed your education and there is a desire to contribute
Bachelors
Students will have to pay for their boarding, lodging and traveling in Delhi. The exact cost would depend on the project, the type of boarding and lodging that you select, the location and the ongoing currency conversion rate.

Joining Hands aims to bridge the gap between people by providing opportunities to influence positive social change through an exchange of ideas, knowledge, skills and learning by facilitating volunteering in India's social development sector.
