Blue Mountains International Hotel School

The experience of living and working in a hotel simulated environment was one of the major advantages of BMIHMS for me. The quality of the teachers was excellent; I was treated the way I would expect to be treated in a hotel environment, and now of course I know that the School runs in exactly the same way that hotels run. We are in the people business and hotels are certainly like one big family.

The School's learning environment - the campus and its facilities are outstanding; and of course the surrounding areas are just breathtaking. I've travelled a lot and I still say that the Blue Mountains region is one of the most beautiful places on the planet.

Being a graduate of a school like BMIHMS shows that you have the ability and determination to achieve results; that you have a strong work ethic, and the desire to be successful.

Graduates today might want to move straight into management roles - there's nothing wrong with ambition - but if you can gain an appreciation of what it's like to do the really hard jobs before becoming a manager, it is hugely beneficial for your career.

I felt the School had a good balance between practical and theory, and I liked the fact I would graduate not only with a Bachelor in Business, but also a Swiss recognised Diploma in Hotel Operations.
