Amigos de Iracambi is a community of people across the world whose vision is to see the Atlantic Forest in Brazil restored, with communities living in its thriving landscape. At our headquarters in Minas Gerais, the Iracambi Research Center spearheads our work in managing natural resources, developing sustainable communities, and researching ecosystems, and how we impact them. We have been doing our part in saving and protecting the Atlantic Forest since 1999, and with everybody's help we will be here as long as it takes. The Atlantic Forest is one of the world's top five biodiversity hotspots, a place of extraordinary beauty and a powerhouse of biodiversity. Unfortunately, much of its flora and fauna is being endangered by habitat loss.
