Travel For Teens: Italy: Amalfi Coast Explorer

Enjoy a week-long adventure soaking up the sun in southern Italy’s most sought-after destination. A beloved vacation spot for not only Italians but also Europeans, the Amalfi Coast is a treasure waiting to be discovered! This program, designed specifically for high school students (finishing grades 9, 10, 11, and 12), will take you on an Italian summer journey of a lifetime! You’ll experience the best of the coast, including crystal clear water, famous black sand beaches, stunning vistas, mouthwatering cuisine, and the laid-back Italian lifestyle. We’ll cruise down the Mediterranean on private boats, snorkel and swim in caves and waterfalls, stroll along the ancient roads of Pompeii, and take in the incredible beauty from atop the island of Capri. Program: Travel For Teens: Italy Service and Adventure

This trip gave the opportunities to have the summer of my lifetime! We started out with a week of community service in the gorgeous setting the Cinque Terre. During this week we amounted 20 hours of community service, but still had time to participate in different activities within the different towns. From there the group moved south- from Tuscany to Sorrento, even stopping in Rome for a few days. The itinerary was jammed packed with different planned activities for us to participate in, as well as built in free time for us to have the ability to explore the towns. The counselors were amazing on this trip, making sure that we were safe at all times, while still giving us time to explore on our own! They were pretty cool and it was super easy to talk to them about ANYTHING going on, if anything happened :)

Program: Travel For Teens: Ultimate Italy

Over summer I went on the Italy Service and Adventure trip with Travel for Teens and it was absolutely incredible. We volunteered at an Italian elementary school and a monastery during the beginning of the trip, and towards the end we took part in many fun activities. For example, we went to Vatican City, spent a day on a boat off the Amalfi Coast, and went to the island of Capri. Each day was a new adventure and I had some of the best experiences of my life on this trip! Even with all of these fun activities, the Italian food was by far the best part. TFT knew all of the amazing food spots and I will never again be satisfied by Italian food in America!
