This project gives participants the opportunity to gain hands-on experience working with a variety of animal-related issues from African wildlife in game reserves to local livestock on farms. The project offers a professional experience for volunteers in the context of animal welfare, management, and veterinary science. The three main focuses of the project are African wildlife, agricultural livestock, and domestic animals. Each section will offer new knowledge for about working with animals. For example, when studying African wildlife, volunteers will hear lectures about animal health and nutrition, tranquilization of animals, and game capture. While working under the agricultural livestock, the issues you will be dealing with are related to cattle, goats, and pigs. Lastly, while working with domestic animals you can help contribute to improving their poor living conditions and their basic healthcare.

In Nice, you will live in a modern student apartment, in the beautiful Old Port neighborhood, in the very heart of town. Every student chooses two classes as their academic focus: a major and an elective. The French major class meets every morning Monday to Friday while electives meet three afternoons a week. Electives include French Conversation, Photography, Sports, and Studio Art. Abbey Road provides three meals a day of high-quality food through a variety of venues. We often cook together using traditional French recipes. On some nights we go out for group dinners. In any case, our students eat authentic, quality food, as opposed to fast food or tourist meals. Our teaching method emphasizes active, hands-on learning, cultural and language immersion. Most of our French classes include interacting with locals, practicing French, and small group French conversation workshops. Our Costa Rica Volleyball Tours offer players aged 14-21 from the US and beyond the unique opportunity of going abroad for competitive volleyball, community service, and adventure excursions. Depending on your level, you will compete in tournaments and friendlies against school teams, clubs, or even Costa Rica’s National Team. All while immersing you in Costa Rica’s culture, where you can make new friends and even improve your Spanish. Bring your school team, club team, or assemble your own team for the trip.

Adelante Abroad’s revamped program, the Summer Golf Study Abroad in Scotland, is now taking applicants for summer 2027! This four-week golf experience offers a high-performance program that includes courses on the History and Development of Golf, Golf Coaching, Intermediate Performance Skills, and work experience at St. Andrews/Gleneagles for a week. These two courses provide practical and theoretical training, strengthening students' resumes. Visits and tee times are scheduled at courses like Arbroath, Boat of Garten, Kingarrock Hickory Golf Course, and others. Students are advised to contact their academic counselor to review the descriptions of the three courses for appropriate transfer academic credit. The program will be held just north of Edinburgh at Scotland’s Rural College (SRUC) Elmwood campus in the old market town of Cupar, alongside rich rural scenery, farmland, and country estates. The SRUC Elmwood Campus is recognized as a national and international center for golf-related specialisms. If you are a golf enthusiast or a sports recreation and management major, this program is for you.

This student travel program takes you on a loop from the Rockies in Colorado, down the coast of California, and then to Nevada and Utah/Arizona Canyon Country. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to raft the Snake River, surf the Pacific, and much more! Our staff will lead a fun-filled program, making you feel welcomed and smiling from day one. Perfectly planned and paced, this will be a whirlwind summer that you’ll never forget. This program is available to students completing grades 7, 8, 9, 10, and 11 (ages 13-17). Volunteer to help impoverished women and their children in Peru with GoBeyond. Casa Mantay, a Cuzco center founded by Raquel and Sergio, serves as a refugee center for teenage mothers and children. Here, they are taught sustainable skills that will help them survive and even succeed in the future. Yuri, an inspirational director at Aldea Yanapay, helps alleviate the social injustices faced by the children through alternative and after-school programs. Earn the Presidential Service Award upon completion of this 100-hour service trip.
