Outdoor Adventure & Cultural Exploration in Granada, Spain

Use Arcos for your children if you are able. It was a great experience in which my child gained independence and learned about the culture of a different country. We were super impressed as a family with the communication, information and instructions provided by Arcos and the team. The activities available were also engaging for my child.

I gained a lot of benefits from participating in the Outdoor Adventure & Cultural Exploration summer program in Granada, Spain. The most important was cultural immersion and learning more about Spain. I now understand much more of its language and history.

The biggest benefits were developing friendships with others in her group, exposure to and appreciation of different cultures, independence in navigating the trip with no parental involvement. Trust the program, allow your child to communicate on their own schedule. Lillian could not have been happier from this trip. She wanted to stay longer and definitely wants to return to Costa Rica now. She speaks most excitedly about the sights, the food, and the host family’s hospitality. It was a tremendous growth experience for her. Thank you!

The greatest benefits of the Arcos adventure trip was that Levi was able to be more autonomous, experience a new culture from the inside and push himself physically. He shared with me that some of the adventure experiences were slightly out of his comfort zone but he was proud when he completed them. Send your child abroad!

My 16 year old son loved this program in Granada. The staff did a great job from the application prcess through to the return. Arcos has two programs in Granada, Spain--one that is a traditional language immersion program and one focused on outdoor exploration. My son chose the outdoor program ad he loved learning about Granada by hiking and biking in the Sierra Nevada, swimming in waterfalls and exploring caves. Granada is a safe city that allows teens to feel independent in a fun enviornment. I highly recommend this program!

ARCOS did a great job! I had a great time! My host mom was really kind and had the best cooking, and the program directors were enthusiatic and really fun to be around! I would definitely recommend this experience to any of my friends. It helped me improve my Spanish and make friends around the world!
