I’ve just completed the 10 hour virtual TEFL course and it was genuinely interactive from start to finish, plus really enjoyable. Michelle created such an easy, relaxed atmosphere and guided us as we worked in pairs to put together our own lesson plan. It was also lovely meeting so many great people over Zoom, and I’d absolutely recommend it to anyone considering a TEFL career. Michelle is a fantastic teacher and you will really have a great time on this course.

I did the 10 hour virtual TEFL course with Michelle Benson. It ran over two days and was really intense and interactive, and I honestly loved it. At first I was unsure how it would work through Skype, but it ended up going way beyond what I expected. I came away with new friends, a better understanding of the English language than I thought I had, plus loads of practical tips and pointers I can bring into my own classroom. I went for the 180hr TEFL course because I wanted the full experience and to really get everything I could from it. There was loads of genuinely helpful content, covering everything from grammar and lesson planning to classroom management. It was easy to follow, and everything was organised in a way that clearly had a lot of thought put into it. All in all it is definitely worth doing. The only intimidating part was beginning because it looked so big and overwhelming, but taking it one small step at a time each day means you will finish before you know it :)

She knows her stuff and her teaching practice insights made the whole TEFL experience feel real, and it was genuinely so much fun. I honestly cannot recommend the TEFL course enough for anyone who wants to give something different a go, especially because it has been so straightforward to complete from home during the pandemic. Finding my way around it was simple and the way everything is organised makes it really clear what you need to do. More than anything though, I genuinely enjoyed working through the course and I am excited to see what kinds of opportunities it could lead to for me later on.

Getting certified to teach english online did not have to be expensive, and this course proved that. Everything covered was easy to follow and kept my attention, while still staying straightforward and to the point. I also managed to finish it pretty quickly, which was another big plus for me.

Hi, my name is saba and I am from Pakistan. I completed my masters in English literature back home, and when I moved to Ireland I was away from my subject for about two years. Later on, I began feeling interested in teaching English again, and that is when I came across this wonderful academy (tefl) online. They explained everything properly, so getting admission was pretty easy for me, and up to now I have received 2 certificates. I had a great time working through the 10 modules, which covered everything from theory, vocab and grammar to practical examples and useful classroom tips, plus links and a multiple choice quiz. On top of that, the team were also straightforward to contact by both email and phone.

Last year I signed up for a course thinking I could chip away at it over the summer and in between breaks, since I am already in a full time uni course and knew I could not properly commit to TEFL material yet. When I started struggling to keep up with my own uni work, I eventually made the decision that I wanted to withdraw from TEFL, but it got me nowhere even after I explained my whole situation. With things changed for me now, I honestly do not know if I will even finish the course, so I just feel really let down and like I have been taken for a ride after spending that much money for nothing, and not feeling understood at all.

I have just finished the 120 hour TEFL teaching course. The app was really straightforward to use, and I thought the online lessons were both thorough and engaging. It also gives you a clear picture of what teaching english involves across all levels. Being able to work through everything at your own speed was a big plus. I did need an extension to complete it, and Emma was extremely helpful with that. It was also reassuring to know the TEFL team are always there if you have any questions. All in all, I was extremely happy with the experience and I would highly recommend the course.

Choosing to do TEFL is something I am really happy I did. I feel like I have taken in so much already, and I am excited to sign up for more courses soon. Everything is laid out clearly and thoughtfully, so it feels organised, full of useful information, and enjoyable at the same time. Our tutor, Kate Popova, ran the sessions in a way that was lively, engaging, and genuinely enjoyable. It is obvious how strong her experience is, especially in how effortlessly she kept everyone involved throughout. As we worked through the curriculum, Kate was also really adaptable and always happy to pause and clear up any questions that came up. I would absolutely recommend this course to anyone because it gives you a real taste of what it feels like to actually deliver an English lesson. You get to take all the theory you have learned and apply it properly, while also building the confidence you need to start your English teaching career. I did wish the material included more videos and pictures because it started to feel a bit repetitive after some time, but the content itself was clearly written and everything I read seemed accurate. Now I am heading off to complete the final 2 bonus courses!

I have just finished the 120 premier TEFL course, and I really enjoyed it for a number of reasons. Everything was set out clearly and professionally, with the modules and their sections always visible. I also liked how flexible it was, as there was no pressure to complete it by a deadline. You could dip in and out whenever it suited you. Navigation was straightforward too because you could stop on a page, leave the site, and when you returned you would be taken straight back to where you had been, with no need to search around for your place. All in all, it gave me exactly what I was hoping for and more, and I would recommend it to anyone who wants to learn how to teach English as a second language.
