The Arava Insitute was the most life-changing place I have ever been. I cannot recommend this experience enough. It is definitely an intense and emotional experience, but the cultural perspectives I have gained were very much worth it. Plus it is one of the most beautiful places I've ever been.

I had the best time studying at the Arava Institute — and it was during Spring 2020, the height of Covid! Getting the chance to meet and live and study with people from such different backgrounds makes it so unique compared to other study abroad programs. The energy there is electric — you’re in a community of people who want to build and make change, and I think it’s impossible to leave without feeling more optimistic about our shared environmental future.
