Spanish Study Abroad Programs in Cordoba, Argentina

Travel to Argentina on a Spanish language study program with The National Registration Center for Study Abroad. The center in Cordoba has a solid history of language training, and it is one of the first language schools in Argentina to focus exclusively on the teaching of Spanish to foreigners. All teachers at the institute hold a university degree in Education or Literature and have extensive experience in teaching Spanish to foreigners. The center's system of initial evaluation and constant supervision ensures that each student participates in lessons that match their language abilities. Group classes are taught in small groups to ensure that each student gets the most our of their lessons.

The Córdoba Summer Term consists of a four-week Intensive Language and Culture session at Argentina's oldest university, Universidad Nacional de Córdoba (UNC). During this time, you take an intensive language and culture course while discovering the culture and people of Argentina. Advanced students may also participate in an internship or service learning opportunity during their summer term. The Spanish Studies Resident Director and UNC's PECLA (Programa de Español y Cultura Latinoamericana) staff guide you through this journey of discovery through regular contact with Spanish Studies students and by organizing special cultural activities. Choose one 80-hour intensive language course, one or two 45-hour content courses, or an internship or service learning opportunity. In addition to coursework, the program includes a homestay, cultural visits within Córdoba, and a cultural day trip to the estancias jesuíticas and Che Guevara museum in Alta Gracia.
