University of the West Indies Cave Hill

Established in 1948, The University of the West Indies (The UWI) is one of only two regional universities in the world. The UWI has three physical Campuses located in Barbados, Jamaica and Trinidad and Tobago and an Open Campus, and a total student enrolment in excess of 50,000. The university primarily serves 17 countries of the Commonwealth Caribbean but its international reach and reputation for excellent teaching and research attracts students from over 100 countries. The UWI Mission is to "advance learning, create knowledge and foster innovation for the positive transformation of the Caribbean and the wider world".
