Exactly what I'd hoped for!

This was such a great experience for me. I did the short practicum because I wasn't confident enough in my teaching abilities for an upcoming internship abroad, and by the end not only was I more confident, but I had cramps in my face from smiling so much! Due to my time zone, I did the 2 sessions at 1am, and I have no regrets. It was completely worth it.

Taking this course dispelled my doubts about teaching English as a Foreign Language. My course tutor Michelle Benson is phenomenal! Her method of teaching is brilliant, fun and engaging and draws out the best in you. I couldn’t have asked for a better team. I wished the session wouldn’t end.I would definitely recommend this course to everyone, it’s worth every investment.

I recently completed the 10 hour Teaching Methodology course and I was shocked by how comprehensive it was and how much I learned from it! I started out slightly apprehensive about my abilities and by the end of the second day I felt much more confident and prepared for teaching in the future. And a huge thank you and a tip of the hat to the instructor, Michelle Benson! She was not only very knowledgeable and skilled at teaching but she has a true gift for making one feel at ease and bringing out the best in each of us! What inspired you to travel abroad?
I had actually never heard of the industry until 2016. I learned of the ESL world through my sister, who is one of our academic tutors and runs the 10 hour Virtual TEFL Course. She has been an ESL teacher for years! After I had arrived home from travel, it was Kate who introduced me to the company and the industry. I instantly fell in love with the concept and even did a bit of teaching myself in between in France! I didn't stay away for long though, but the TEFL Institute is an amazing place to work - as cringe as that may sound!
