About The American College of the Mediterranean
The American College of the Mediterranean (ACM) offers U.S.-accredited, American-style bachelor's and master's degrees in heart of the South of France. Originally founded as the Institute for American Universities (IAU) in 1957, ACM's mission is to provide excellence in international education, inspire cultural awareness, and prepare students for success in a global community through the study of European and Mediterranean history, languages, cultures, and contemporary international issues.
ACM emphasizes experiential learning through its unique combination of interdisciplinary programming, internships, field studies, and traveling seminars. ACM students also have the opportunity to deepen their studies of the Mediterranean by spending a semester at one of IAU's study centers in Barcelona, Madrid, or Florence.
