Program Overview
Dive into core training in media research methods and communication theory, giving you a broad and interdisciplinary foundation in this one-year master’s program. The Master of Arts in Media Studies at The American College of the Mediterranean is a thirty-six credit-hour program consisting of the following: - Compulsory three-credit core courses (15 units) - Electives according to your chosen tracks (9 units) - Intersession traveling seminar (3 units) - Internship during the second semester (4 units) - Master’s Thesis (4 units) This program leverages the site-specificity of our European campus, with close ties to Spain and North Africa. It combines theory and practice to prepare students for success in fields, such as public relations, public affairs, brand management, nonprofit management, research, and education. It emphasizes culturally sensitive, ethical, and socially responsible communication.
