Imagine studying veterinary medicine on the beautiful, peaceful, tropical island of Dominica—often called the Nature Island of the Eastern Caribbean.

US and international students taking the 4-year DVM program at St. Nicholas University School of Veterinary Medicine are required to have a minimum of 60 college/university credits. They must have earned a high school diploma with official transcripts displaying successful completion of English, Mathematics, and Chemistry with a minimum grade of C (not required for the 5-year DVM Program with PreVet). Plus, all prospective students are required to demonstrate a minimum level of English language proficiency before admission.

At St. Nicholas University School of Veterinary Medicine, we have modern training equipment at our disposal. You will gain hands-on experience in our University Veterinary clinic, which also supports St Nicholas Animal Rescue and Shelter – a non-profit we sponsor. Our graduates may qualify for work abroad, including in Canada and the USA.
