The BSc (Hons) Global Sustainable Development program introduces you to the concepts and thinking behind sustainability. It starts by exploring key thinkers and issues in engaging the global community with sustainable development. At the same time, it introduces you to critical ways to investigate, interrogate, and analyze new research in sustainable development and familiarizes you with the expectations of higher education.

We then focus on the connections between the classic ‘three pillars’ of sustainability: society, economy, and the environment. These connections present significant challenges and opportunities to forge a sustainable world.
