Insightful Courses and Guided Trips

I would recommend this to a friend because the courses were very insightful and I loved that we got to go on guided trips to places I otherwise would not have known of. And because the class size was small, I got to connect with my peers a lot more.
Accessible Way to Step Outside Comfort Zone

I think that this program is an accessible way for students to venture outside of their comfort zone in both their taste pallet and social interactions. In this program you will learn to make friends with people you might not encounter on a day to day basis.
Well-Structured with Helpful Orientation

Program is well structured and the pre orientation is super helpful, specially because going to a new country can feel overwhelming so the guide made it easier. The staff is very attentive to our needs and they host events and day trips to help us be involved in our new city

What inspired you to travel abroad?
When looking up CIEE online, the mission and values resonated with me. Inclusiveness and problem-solving are very important when you want to work in international environments. Being able to contribute to that mission was a real driver for me to apply. Also, the job description of Center Director is amazing and seems to fit my generalist profile quite well.

What inspired you to travel abroad?
My passion as a study abroad student was to "change the world," but I have come to learn that "building bridges across cultures" is a more empathic way to approach effective change. At CIEE, I have been privileged to work with young people to create high-impact cultural programming that inspires our participants to foster change.
