A Smooth and Unforgettable Study Abroad Experience with Asia Exchange
November 23, 2025by: Bhawna Dhawan - GermanyI had an amazing experience with Asia Exchange. The entire process was incredibly smooth from start to finish, and they made everything so easy and stress-free. Thanks to their support, I had a wonderful time during my semester abroad in South Korea at Hanyang University. Asia Exchange truly is the best - professional, helpful, and always quick to respond. I would recommend them to anyone who is planning to study abroad. They made my dream semester a reality!
Greatest experience of my life

I am a visiting student at HUFS in Seoul, and I applied through Asia Exchange. What a wonderful journey I had with them! The entire procedure from application to arrival was smooth and user-friendly. The Asia Exchange team consisted of very nice people and they always answered my questions very fast. They gave me specifications about HUFS, student life, and living in Korea, which were really useful for my preparation. They even helped me apply for a dorm, so I didn’t have to worry about finding accommodation on my own. I really suggest Asia Exchange to all those who are planning to study in South Korea, you won't have any problem and no stress at all!

A Life-Changing Experience with Bali Beyond Borders ?✨
December 19, 2024by: Phyllis Ntsoane - United StatesFrom the moment I arrived, I felt embraced by the warm and vibrant culture of the Balinese people! The Bali Beyond Borders program is impeccably organized, ensuring every student gets to maximize their time in Bali while fostering personal growth and cultural immersion. I was honored to be a part of the inaugural cohort of the Bali Beyond Borders Fall 2024 program and the academic education I received at Undiknas Pendidikan Nasional Universitas University was enriching, blending globally relevant coursework with local perspectives. The program coordinators, professors, and staff were incredibly supportive, ensuring our safety and happiness, while encouraging us to step out of our comfort zones and embrace the moment. They created an environment that challenged me intellectually while encouraging creative thinking and collaboration. Beyond the classroom, the program truly excelled in offering cultural experiences that go above and beyond. From exploring stunning beaches and rice terraces to visiting traditional markets and sacred temples, creating Hindu offerings, and witnessing Kechak dances, every moment offered a deep connection to Bali’s rich culture, natural beauty, and local way of life. What sets this program apart is its commitment to creating meaningful connections. I’ve met incredible people from all over the world, my classmates were from Finland and Malaysia and we have formed friendships that will last a lifetime. Every day brought new adventures and memories as we enjoyed the unmatched beauty of Bali. Bali Beyond Borders didn’t just provide me with an opportunity to study in a breathtaking location—it gave me a new perspective on life, an appreciation for cultural diversity, and the confidence to dream bigger than ever before. If you’re considering studying abroad, this program is the perfect choice to challenge, inspire, and empower you.

Hi there! My name is Mia, and at the moment I am studying at Warmadewa University in Bali! I am 23 years old, and a big enthusiast for travel, sports and good food! I am Croatian, but I have actually been working and studying in the Netherlands for the past few years. It's a cool place, but what I have been missing deeply is the warmth, beach and summer vibes. So choosing Bali as my semester abroad option was such an easy decision. Not only is the life over here so easy and chill, but the people are super sweet and the nature is pure magic. And the best thing ever is- anything you need, you can find over here. So if you're interested in living an everyday life adventure, have some questions or need some help with anything related to Asia Exchange program, don't hesitate to reach out!
They supported me in the best possible way
July 12, 2024by: LuciaProgram: Study Abroad in Bali, Indonesia
Hi to everyone. I am Lucia and I am studying International Communication back at my home university in the Netherlands. After my social year abroad in Costa Rica, I discovered my passion for getting to know new cultures their food, places and people - and new continents. That is why I decided not only to do one single minor in Madrid but also to go directly for another one in Bali. I am very grateful that Asia Exchange gave me this opportunity and supported me in the best possible way. This way, I'm not just going on a short holiday to Bali, but I can really immerse myself in the culture and everything Bali has to offer. If you have any questions about the courses, my stay at Udayana University, or life in Bali, I am always here to help.
Love to call Bali my second home
July 06, 2024by: Ali & IlonaProgram: Study Abroad in Bali, Indonesia
Hey there! When we first planned our semester abroad, we were accepted to a university in Canada. But then we came across Asia Exchange and were amazed by the opportunity to study in Bali. Looking back, we could not be more grateful for letting the chance go of studying in Canada and going to Bali instead. In one semester, we grew personally and developed a business out of there after returning a half year later. Now we commute between Germany and Bali and love to call Bali my second home. A semester abroad is the best possibility to learn a lot about yourself and grow personally. Go to Bali, do some yoga, find your inner peace, and awake your true potential. If there is anything you want to know about our study experience or living in Bali, please don't hesitate to shoot us an E-Mail.

ITS TIME TO SHINE
November 26, 2023by: Alice Sagliani - ItalyThanks to them I have the possibility to attend a full degree program in South Korea. Really happy and satisfied. I considered it a very rich experience to learn about different cultures and values. Diversity would give me more insight to how people around the world behave. I truly believe that languages have to been learned abroad, especially in terms of culture, nothing is more important than experiment differences directly on your skin, and that's why I really think that you provided the best way to learn a culture.

Thank you Asia Exchange for giving us the opportunity to study in Thailand and discover more about this incredible country. The courses at Kasetsart University are pretty basic and not amazing but you have the ability to choose the courses you want and schedule them to have a great weekend. Therefore, I might not recommend the school for the quality of teaching but rather for their adaptability, kindness and because it offers a great opportunity to discover the country and its people. I would make the same choices again and go back to study at kasetsart university. Especially since the school is not in the center of the city which allows you to take a breather from the madness of Bangkok. It is however close enough to the center to get there easily.
Highly recommended!

First of all, I must state that the service provided was truly outstanding. The admission process was smooth and seamless, making it easy for me to select the destination and apply within only two weeks. The staff was helpful and efficient both before and after the departure. The exchange program has been an incredible opportunity to experience life in a new country, with different culture, in my case Lisbon, Portugal. The city is vibrant, the people are very welcoming, and the university taught me skills that I will cherish for the years upcoming. Overall, I would highly recommend Asia Exchange to anyone looking for a unique and enriching experience. My happiest days of my life
February 01, 2023by: Akank Scha Dhawan - GermanyIt was always my dream to study in South Korea and AsiaExchange made it possible. Without them I wouldn't have been able to fulfill this dream if mine! I found them through research on Google and saw that the application process was so easy. I gathered my documents and applied and within a day I received my acceptance to the Hanyang University. They help with everything, it was so easy to apple for the dormitory with them and they made is possible to even connect with other students through webinars and different kind groups on platforms like Facebook and Whatsapp. I'm so thankful for this opportunity they offered as I was able to spend the happiest and best days of life there. I cannot recommend AsiaExchange enough. They were so quick to answer every question of mine with sincerity and even during my stay they were always there for me! I'll forever be grateful. Regarding the University I can say that it is really big and beautiful. The campus is so beautiful and there are so many events and festivals happening throughout the semester. Also they offer programs like the buddy programm or global house where you can connect with local students. It is really a great University!

January 20, 2023by: Valentina Giovannelli - ItalyProgram: Study Abroad in Seoul for 1-2 Semesters - Hankuk University
I have always dreamed about studying in Asia, but my university did not offer any exchange there. I found Asia Exchange and I finally could live my dream! I applied for a semester at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, South Korea. I just had to send all the requested documents to Asia Exchange and they did all the work. I just received an email 24h after my application for the confirmation of enrollment. IT IS THAT EASY! They take care of everything, they follow you in all your steps with informative webinars. But you can also write an email to ask specific question and they would answer straight away with all the informations. They explained everything so clearly to me. They also propose a health insurance which is great. Moreover, they help you with accommodation. Personally, I chose to live in the university dorm. I just had to fill in a form, and they did all the rest. JUST AMAZING! Asia Exchange is an amazing organization which helps a lot of students to fulfill their dream to study abroad without any preoccupation. Recommend 100%
Amazing experience and amazing opportunity!

I applied for the full bachelor's degree program in international studies at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies through Asia Exchange. The way AE organized the application process made it simple and easy to apply and the webinars the company offered made it easy to prepare for what will wait at the destination. I haven't finished my degree yet but I already can say that the courses are very interesting, the quality of teaching is great and the student life on and off campus is very lively and fun! You get to have a lot of control how to plan your semesters and with the support of the university's own student support system and Asia Exchange's advisors you can be sure that everything goes smoothly all the time. If you're planning on doing a full degree or a semester or summer school abroad, I can happily recommend applying to HUFS through Asia Exchange!

July 30, 2020by: Madeline Brown - United StatesProgram: Study Abroad in Seoul for 1-2 Semesters - Hankuk University
I was a visiting student at Hankuk University of Foreign Studies in Seoul, Korea, and now I am a full time student at the same school, all with the help of Asia Exchange!! Honestly, if it weren’t for Asia Exchange, I wouldn’t be in Asia at all, because I would have no idea where to start with the process. I got super lucky in finding AE, as they guided me through everything, and basically only required me to fill out their small application and send some forms, the rest they handled directly with the school. I probably sent 100 emails the first month of knowing about Asia Exchange, from asking questions about the visa process, to the school cafeteria, and they had absolutely no judgements and answered everything they could. I’m so glad that I used AE too since all the AE students connected and met up on day one. I formed fast friendships in Seoul because of it.
An unforgettable year at Siam University
June 05, 2020by: Pedro Lozada - United StatesProgram: Study in Bangkok - Undergraduate Program at Siam University
About the University Siam University it’s located in Bangkok Thailand. The university’s next to the MRT and BTS system which is very convenient to travel around town. There are condos to stay nearby, a hospital, a variety of food markets, a shopping mall with restaurants, and a movie theater. All are located within 1 to 2 kilometers of the school. Downtown and the local night places/markets/bars/clubs are not far away by taxi or metro as well, going in a group can cost less than two dollars per person sometimes by Grab (Thailand’s uber) or a local taxi. The nearby condos: The President, The Supalai, The Chewathai, and the Bangkok Horizon are located from 2 to 10 minutes from the school (walking distance) and all have pools, gyms, elevators, garages, laundry rooms, saunas, lobbies equipped with WIFI, among other commodities one can desire. The classes' syllabuses and more info about the university can be found on the University's website. Getting There Getting there it's easy from the airport. I was picked up by my Thai friends, but I’ve taken the metro or BTS system to go to the airport multiple times. There’s a stop next to the school which can take you to the airport without having to get a cab for a fairly low price. The AE application was a breeze and can be done in a matter of minutes. Getting my acceptance correspondence didn’t take much and I highly recommend everyone to take a look at it. Work-life Balance I had more of a work-life balance at Siam than at my home university. Siam offered once a week classes, some students only took classes during the weekend for example, and enjoyed the rest of the week to travel and explore the city. Wanna go see Chiang Mai or a country nearby for the weekend? No problem! You can schedule your classes to take place on Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday only. Want to go out at night to restaurants, bars, clubs, etc.? You can simply decide to take afternoon classes so you can have the morning to sleep in. Do you have an internship or work during the week? Try taking night classes or weekend classes. Siam offers flexibility and the professors are fairly easy to talk to when you can’t attend a class for some reason. Cost the cost ranges between $1800 for European bachelor students to $2800 for non-European students for a semester. A complete MBA can be between $5800 to $6500 and it takes about a year to complete. Rent can range from $250 to $400 with most of the time everything included. Why Go? Do you know that feeling of regret for not doing something? Do you know that feeling of “What if I would’ve done it”? I wouldn’t think twice about studying in Asia. Do a list of pros and cons, talk to people that have previously done it, make a bucket list with a list of your goals, do whatever you need to do because at the end of the day I will guarantee you that traveling and studying abroad will definitely be one of the greatest decisions you’ll ever make. Perhaps it will light up a passion you discovered during your travels, perhaps you could meet your life partner while at your stay, maybe you will feel in love with the country and decide to extend your stay, no matter what, you won’t regret going abroad because it will impact your life for the better. Last Recommendation If you can try to learn some local phrases or words. It can bring a smile to the locals' faces and make your experience more pleasant :) What was the most surprising thing you saw or did? Studying in Thailand was nothing like being a student in the US. First of all, I find it interesting that bachelor students needed to wear uniforms to go to class. The people in the country have the uttermost respect for the old King Bhumibol which happens to be half American. It’s amazing how cheap a full course meal can be in Thailand, no seriously you can easily spend less than $30 on food for a month if you so wanted. The most interesting thing for sure was the amount of 7-11s in the country, sometimes there’s one next to each other and are everywhere

Simply sensational
February 09, 2020by: Boris COLUSSI-CORTE - FranceProgram: Study Abroad in Kuala Lumpur - Universiti Putra Malaysia
I studied at the Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) which is the first-ranked university in Malaysia. Although it is specialized in agronomy and agriculture, this vast university is composed of multiple faculties, each specialized in a specific topic (environment, biotech, engineering, language, economics, etc.). I loved how Malaysia shows different cultural aspects, from Indian’s culture to Malay’s or Chinese’s. I lived an incredible semester in Malaysia which allowed me to discover new cultures; the food, the peoples, the temples… everything is astonishing in Kuala Lumpur! Moreover, by studying there, I was able to travel to most of the countries in South East Asia -Thailand and Indonesia were my favorites- with a low budget. Asia exchange was of great help during the whole semester. From facilitating communication between us -the students- and the UPM international office, to giving us advice for travels and visa applications, with very quick answers!

January 30, 2020by: Ken Döscher - GermanyProgram: Study in Bangkok - Undergraduate Program at Siam University
I just finished my semester abroad at the Siam University in Bangkok and my semester there was made possible from Asia Exchange. The whole organization process was really easy. After I applied, it took only one day for them to confirm my semester and in the months before and during the semester, it really felt like they are taking care of me. I remember several helpful mails before I flew to Bangkok and a few after I arrived there. I also had some questions regarding e.g. visa issues during my stay in Bangkok, which I asked them via Whatsapp - pretty simple - and they always responded very fast. I had an amazing time in Bangkok, which I will never forget! I am so in love with this city, Bangkok has so much to offer. I can only recommend studying there for an exchange semester.

The staff helped me efficiently in every step of the process, they answered all my questions in time and guided me throughout my entire application procedure. Shanghai is an amazing city that has a lot of things to offer, this opportunity allowed me to experience a completely different culture as well as it gave me the chance to travel and connect with people I never expected to meet. This trip changed my life and gave me skills I know will be useful for my academic future.

I studied at Universiti Putra Malaysia (UPM) near Kuala Lumpur for one semester (from September 2019 to January 2020) as it was mandatory in my home university. As I did not get much help from my home university, I was glad to be guided by Asia Exchange from the very beginning to the end. I studied at the faculty of Biotechnology and Biomolecular Sciences as it was perfectly suited for me and my previous studies. The lecture content was excellent. Obviously, studying was not the only activity of my semester. Having the opportunity to study in Malaysia involves discovering new cultures and habits from the country and other Southeast Asian countries such as Thailand, Indonesia and many more, without spending a lot of money. I had the privilege to see so many different landscapes, to try plenty of local dishes, and to make friends and memories that I will cherish for the rest of my life. I really recommend you to study in Asia wherever you go, as long as you choose Asia Exchange as your travel organism. They will answer all your questions in a short time and will provide you great help before and during your entire semester. I will never forget this amazing adventure in Malaysia.

My experience going abroad with Asia Exchange was amazing. I feel like I will always remember the day I sent the first email and after just started the semester in Bali. Everything went smooth and I felt really well treated by everyone. I went on my own and came back with many friends.
An experience you should definitely try!
March 16, 2019by: Gerhard H - AustriaI discovered AsiaExchange while searching for an exchange semester, as my university did not provide much help for studying outside Europe. So I decided to spend a semester in Shanghai in 2017, which was definitely one of the best things I could do. There is so much to see, do and learn, the food is great and culture just so different. As an engineering student, the study program did not really fit my curriculum. However, this was a great opportunity to learn about culture, economics and various soft-skills. As the studies are not too time-consuming, one has some time to dive into the local culture and explore the city itself. Traveling to other parts of China by high-speed train was also really convenient and much fun. I returned with incredible experiences, a lot of new friends and the urge to leave for another adventure soon.

I had the amazing opportunity of studying abroad in Bali in the fall of 2018. Some of my highlights were surfing, meeting people from all over the world, and studying with good friends! The team at Asia Exchange also made it really easy for me to settle in when I first came to Bali. I would recommend Asia Exchange to anyone who is about having new experiences!
Best thing I ever did!

I studied for one semester at the Udayana University in Bali with Asia Exchange in autumn 2017. I came without any expectations and I left with a heart full of happiness! Studying and living on one of the most paradisiac islands in the world was the best thing I could have done. I met so many nice people, dived into a wonderful culture, saw breathtaking places, enjoyed great food and had a really good time. The schedule at the BIPAS program allowed us to do as much as possible within one semester. The program is well organized (with a little Balinese touch), but definitely to recommend and the staff on-site was helpful and super nice! :)

I have been studying two semesters at Udayana University in Bali! It was amazing in so many ways, everything from food, culture, lifestyle, surfing, people, beaches and sun! Asia exchange has been helpful during my whole stay and given all the information needed! I will recommend everyone to do a semester abroad and Bali is the perfect place to experience all of these wonderful things
A wonderful place to widen your horizons
April 06, 2018by: Niklas Melcher - NetherlandsProgram: Study Abroad in Seoul for 1-2 Semesters - Hankuk University
Study at HUFS and you never want to return. Academically, it is a nice place to be, teachers are skilled, classes are (to a big extent) fairly international. The campus is beautiful and the institution offers countless opportunities to engage socially, from festivals to sports events. But that is not the only thing, the city of Seoul offers tremendous opportunities to explore, grow and enjoy. Ranging from a unique nightlife and an extremely delicious cuisine to one of a kind social and entertainment activities, Seoul never disappoints you. And most of all: Koreans are curious, kind and heart-warming people. No matter, where you are from Korea will be very different to what you are used to, and, yes it will occasionally take time to get used to it. But studying at HUFS with AsiaExchange will equip you with a set of wonderful experiences that you don't want to miss. I would go back any time!

Shanghai university / Asia Exchange programme in Shanghai! Take the jump.
April 01, 2018by: Mathilda - NetherlandsMy semestre at Shanghai University was an amazing experience which I would strongly recommend to anyone thinking about spending some time in China and build a network there. The content of the courses was great as you can pick some of the courses yourself, and all of them were aligned on my interest to learn more about Chinese business & entreprise. The Chinese classes were a lot of fun too! Overall, because of the occasional complexity of setting up such an adventure by yourself (communications with the university, paperwork, accommodation...) I cannot emphasise enough on the HUGE help that Asia Exchange services brought me to ensure my arrival and stay went as good as possible. It is very reassuring you know you can always reach out for questions or help if necessary, specially when in a country with such a different culture and strong language barrier. If you are still hesitating, just take the jump! I will never forget this experience which was an eye opener to me on many levels, and is such an added value to my professional profile (and personal too!). Thank you again!

I studied in Thailand at the Siam University (Bangkok) for one year(2017/18) and it was a great time because the Siam University offers a good education and support, I also had a great time because I had the chance to understand its culture and travel in Thailand and neighbor countries. So, if you are interested in Asian countries, do not hesitate or just think about it – just go. Because it is wonderful here
Exchange semester in Kuala Lumpur
March 11, 2018by: Lasse Hurri - MalaysiaProgram: Study Abroad in Kuala Lumpur - Universiti Putra Malaysia
I've been studying almost 8 years and I finally got courage to go sturdy overseas. And damn it was the best choice and time of my life so far. Everything went quite smoothly and that was made sure by Asia Exchange. Everyone got a little trouble with the visa process but it got handled very well and if I understood correctly no one had problems the next semester with it. This could've not been made any easier by Asia Exchange and they helped us out along the process the best they could. I got everything handled just going by their directions and I didn't forgot anything important home because of their good guide! As I said the exchange experience was the best time of my life so far. I met incredible people (students, locals, everyone overall), ate the most varied food in many different Asian countries (as I got to travel quite much) and most importantly got better knowledge of my studying field. I always forget to mention something important when I'm listing these things but overall it was awesome experience and would recommend to it for everyone. It was an eye opener and made me realize how awesome traveling is and how you have to just take a one big leap to experience such a great trip. If you are thinking of going and even alone (as I did), just do it! It feels scary at first but you meet a lot of new cool people on the way and they are in the same situation!

Had awesome time in Malaysia
March 11, 2018by: Assi - FinlandProgram: Study Abroad in Kuala Lumpur - Universiti Putra Malaysia
Studying in Malaysia was one of the best things in my studies and in my life. Without Asia Exchange it would have not been possible. If there were any questions or problems any part of the proces they were very helpful and got answers fast. Kuala Lumpur was a great place to live and so much to see and do in Malaysia. Everyone in UPM were also very helpful and friendly. I did enjoy my time with all classmates I had there.

The decision that changed my life
December 04, 2017by: Guillermo Tamborrel - MexicoProgram: Study 1-2 Semesters Abroad in Bali at Udayana University
When I first thought of going abroad I was considering "fancy" universities and cities like Hong Kong or Singapore... just to realize beside being ridiculously expensive, I would be living in another hectic busy city as Mexico City. My true dream of studying in southeast Asia was mostly for the opportunity of travelling and visiting cities I had always fantasized on getting to know, one of the was Bali. It was during a night of insomia and a bit of existential crisis when I first googled "study in Bali"... and there it was, AsiaExchange´s website... that night I didn't slept at all. It was possible, it could actually be done! After stuggling with my univesity, it was only with AsiaExchange's support that I managed to be the first mexican ever to study in Bali! There aren't enough words to describe how thankfull I'm with AsiaExchange for making my semester abroad possible, not only they took me there but also they arranged my whole semester over there. Studying in Bali definitely changed my life. Living in a place where people fantasize on visiting goes beyond and possible explanation. Got the opportunity to live the nature, meet amazing people (including my current german-girlfriend haha) who I'm sure I'll treasure them the rest of my life and becoming a better person. Bali not only is affordable, yet is mesmerizing! Bali was a life-changing experience, now more than ever I can proudly say "Saya seorang mahasiswa universitas udayana"! (hint: something I learned over there haha. google it ;) )
Bali spring 2017

I did my semester abroad in spring 2017. It was really the best time of my life. Asia Exchange was helping me a lot before, during and after the semester. Overall a great experience. Bali life is really cool. If you love sun, surf and party but also culture this is an amazing place. You can really choose your life style here. If you have the chance to go you should.

Everything has been so great from the very beginning to the end! AsiaExchange was so informative and helped me with all my questions that I had before the semester. Bali has really caught my heart. I love the culture and all the friendly people, the beautiful nature and all of the adventures one can do. I recommended everyone to study here because you won't regret it!
Combine studies and experiences
October 03, 2017by: Filip - IndonesiaProgram: Study 1-2 Semesters Abroad in Bali at Udayana University
The best part of this semester is the opportunity to combine your studies with lifelong experiences. Since there is mandatory lectures three days a week you have plenty of time to experience the island and culture.
Experienced another perspective to everyday life
March 22, 2016by: MinnaThe course program in Guangzhou is well conceived of in principle, but there should be greater coordination between teachers concerning the content of the language courses in order to avoid overlaps. Overall the international office worked very hard to ensure that we are safe and have a good time. Some things are bound to be different from what you're used to. The whole purpose of studying abroad is to experience another perspective to everyday life, which also means experiencing things that go against your assumptions and expectations. Instead of struggling against the differences, try to understand why they exist.
Interesting three months in Shanghai
March 22, 2016by: AndreaI am thankful for the opportunity to study and spend an interesting three months in Shanghai. I appreciated the easy application process that made it possible to go abroad to study in a short time. Thanks for the very interesting lectures at the university. I was very satisfied with the speakers. They have discussed always very interesting topics with us. It would have been nice to make some small evening party with all new students after orientation day in Shanghai. To meet unofficially all new people, to make new contacts.
Experienced new things
March 22, 2016by: JuliaProgram: Study Abroad in Kuala Lumpur - Universiti Putra Malaysia
I met a lot new people and made a lots of friends. Kuala Lumpur is a great place to travel around Asia from. Asia is totally different compared to Europe so I experienced new things and I'm more open minded now. Maybe there should be more activities for exchange students. Information flow in UPM needs to improve, but things in Asia are of course handled differently than in Europe. Managing things with AE was very easy and I always got answers to my questions.
It was very interesting and eye-opening thing!
March 22, 2016by: AnniProgram: Study Abroad in Kuala Lumpur - Universiti Putra Malaysia
Of course this semester would not have been as great as it was without all the amazing students! I am happy to say that I made some lifelong friends in Malaysia. Travelling around the Southeast Asia made me grow as a person, and realize I can survive on my own. At university I learned a lot about different topics, but also about myself.
A great choice of classes, a great opportunity
March 22, 2016by: AlexandraProgram: International MBA in Bangkok
The Siam University provides a great choice of classes within master studies. Its location offers a great opportunity to get to know the more local part of Bangkok, and the Thai culture. Its canteen offers a great and favorable choice of Thai food. The Siam University should set up programs that connect Thai and international students, e.g. sport programs, language exchange programs, etc. Some teaching materials were slightly outdated, and some professors were not aware about the latest theories or models.
One of the best trips I've ever had
March 22, 2016by: JasminaProgram: Study in Bangkok - Undergraduate Program at Siam University
Siam University organized a student trip during the weekend to Hua Hin which was one of the best trips I've ever had. Otherwise, I definitely enjoyed the travelling within Thailand - whether north, south or east. It's a beautiful country and feels like paradise. I mostly appreciated the fact that emails were responded very quickly with detailed replies to any questions. However, I would have liked some more activities provided by AE (especially at the beginning) to merge all the international students, maybe even from different universities. I enjoyed the beautiful campus and even though the classrooms were quite old and messy, the other facilities at Siam have been pleasant.
It was the best time of my life!
March 22, 2016by: ChristopherProgram: Study 1-2 Semesters Abroad in Bangkok - Kasetsart University
The highlight was the Singha Volunteer trip to Samut Songhkram, where we donated water and rice to the inhabitants and made a trip to a school to teach English to Thais. My advice is to study hard, respect the culture and go on every trip you can take! Experience Asia!
Great all together!
March 22, 2016by: FabianProgram: Study Abroad in Seoul for 1-2 Semesters - Hankuk University
I can't point out one thing that was particularly good. It was great all together. The culture clash - living in a completely different environment all together. Other than that some trips I did and people I met. AE always let me know what I needed to know responded to my emails right away (sometimes within minutes, even though it was in the middle of the night - seriously how do you do that? You should offer customer service trainings) and was happy to help with pretty much anything I needed.
Loved my semester abroad
March 22, 2016by: SvanteProgram: Study Abroad in Seoul for 1-2 Semesters - Hankuk University
I absolutely loved my semester abroad and I would have wanted to extend my stay. Unfortunately, I couldn't do that due to other obligations. HUFS is a very nice university, the campus area is very pretty and the overall atmosphere is great. I had the chance to participate in school club activities (HUFS hip hop dance crew) and that was a challenge due to the language barrier but at the end it was so rewarding and I got many good Korean friends. So I would recommend club activities to everyone. ISO (international student organization) has such a nice staff and they really make an effort for you to get adjusted in HUFS. The only negative side of HUFS was the quality of the teaching, there were a lot of bad/below average teachers, but luckily I also had one exceptionally good teacher.

I certainly had some of the best months of my lifetime in Bali during my semester abroad which was organised by Asia Exchange. Bali is the perfect destination to have a unique experience of studying and living in paradise. The island is amazing and the expenses are affordable so that even students can live a quite comfortable life. The Exchange program was organized very well, the quality of the lectures was better than expected and the staff was very friendly and helpful at any time. I would totally recommend this study program to everybody.

I learned a lot about the culture -the people- and architecture and everything around me. I'm really happy that there is this possibility with this program to study abroad and get a lot of experiences for life.

I had the best 4 months of my life studying at the BIPAS program in Bali. Most of the courses were interesting as were the workshops, and we had plenty of free time to explore the island and other parts of Indonesia, too! I still cherish the memories and 3 years after the semester I'm still in regular contact with many of my fellow students.

My study abroad semester in Bali was just awesome. I had high expectations for my time abroad, but it still exceeded it a big time. I seriously fell in love with Bali and surrounding areas. I learned a lot about the culture, people and of myself. Both at classes and outside of them. I got all the courses accredited to my degree back home. Highly recommended!

Bali, wonderful as it is, was a great experience in itself! I met some of the most wonderful people and enjoyed myself. Unfortunately I was quite disappointed with the University program. Staff is nice but VERY unorganized. We had a hard time getting the grades accepted in Germany because word has already gotten around at the Universities that the program is not taken really seriously in Bali. Therefore teachers refused to accept our grades. The overall experience is still great though.

Deciding to spend a semester in Bali has definitely been the best decision in my life so far. The time truly opened up my eyes and did many good things for me as a person. The Bali International Program on Asian Studies is the only one truly international program in Bali. We had students from 10 different countries, and now I have friends in 5 different continents! I can't emphasize too much how grateful I am of this experience for everyone who made it possible. Terima kasih banyak!

I really enjoyed studying in this program.Teaching methods were different than in my own university. There were numerous interesting workshops and excursions which made us get to know better Indonesian culture and customs.Staff of University were very helpful and interested of foreigner students. Asia Exchange arranged some activities for us. For example weekend trip to Lembongan island, visiting to seed of hope orphanage, beach olympics, and great parties. If you are considering to take a part of this program then just go! This was the best experience of my life and I`ve never regret that I studied abroad. I think person who is open and interested of different cultures would benefit the most of this progam.

What inspired you to travel abroad?
I went on an Asia Exchange study exchange in Bangkok in the spring of 2009. At the time I was doing a bachelor’s degree in engineering, but I was interested in business studies and wanted to experience the exotic Asia. I found Asia Exchange online and saw that they offered a good business study program at Kasetsart University in Bangkok, so I decided to take the leap and apply for the program. The exchange has been one of the best experiences of my life and it worked as a spark for me to do a whole new bachelor’s degree in international business, which I’m currently finishing up. The whole experience with the exchange in Bangkok and studying more business led me to apply to work at Asia Exchange, and thus I’ve come around full circle.

What inspired you to travel abroad?
I started getting really interested in foreign languages in high school, when I decided to take three foreign languages all at the same time. After considering a career as a foreign language teacher, my interests eventually shifted to European studies and international education. I knew I had to live in Europe, so I did an internship in Belgium and then enrolled in a master’s degree program at Stockholm University in Sweden. I really like the Nordic countries, and I was thrilled to get a chance to work at Asia Exchange in Tampere, Finland.
