Elimu Bridge World presents a structured and ethical Global Medical Internship Program in Zanzibar and Dar es Salaam, Tanzania, designed for medical, nursing, and healthcare students or recent graduates seeking meaningful clinical experience in a global health setting. Interns are placed in public and private hospitals, rotating through departments such as surgery, pediatrics, internal medicine, emergency, obstetrics & gynecology, among others. Programs run year-round, lasting 2 to 12 weeks, with flexible start dates. Participants gain hands-on learning under supervision, observe a wide range of conditions, and contribute to community health outreach. Outside of clinical work, interns explore local culture, history, and Zanzibar’s world-famous beaches.
