Be part of a unique team that takes a holistic approach to marine conservation. It works on protecting the coastal and marine ecosystems that are suffering from human and natural destruction. The project also educates the local villagers, hotel workers, and dive shop owners on the important environmental issues and how to prevent further damage to the reefs. Depending on the time of year there will be different projects for volunteers to help. From November to April, the main tasks will be sea turtle conservation and beach cleanup. While May to October, which is the rainy season, the projects will be geared towards terrestrial conservation, surveying, and planting mangroves. No matter the time of year, all volunteers will have the opportunity to participate in community work, teaching English to school children, and environmental education.
