The best 2 weeks of my life!
January 16, 2026by: Santolo Esposito - United StatesProgram: GIVE Tanzania: English Education in Zanzibar & Safari
Honestly the best 2 weeks of my life. I had a blast and have made many memories on this trip I will never forget. First of all, the guides were awesome and amazing people. Very friendly, easy to to talk to, and always checking up on you and making sure you are having fun. The group I was with were also amazing and always had excellent energy throughout the whole trip. Everyone was willing to connect, share stories, play games, and let their authenticity show. I really loved the way the trip was organized and scheduled. We knew what time to wake up, go to sleep, when we were going to do our activities, etc. It was very educational and I learned a lot about the people, the culture, the environment, and the problems the country faces. I loved the diversity in activities and how we actually connected and exchanged cultural ideas with locals in rural communities that you don’t usually get to see. Overall, a 10/10. Would totally go on another trip in the future!

Life changing!
December 14, 2023by: JEFFREY DURRANT - United StatesTrekking Kilimanjaro with them was life changing. Our guides were super nice, very helpful, and made it a great experience. The climb is amazing, can’t recommend it enough. The challenge is worth it, so if you’re thinking about it then definitely do it. They will take care of all the hard logistics so you can just have a great experience climbing.
Thank you Dr. Durrant for useful review, that inspire more people to book adventures abroad with us. Furthermore, your travel review shows trust to more tourists to book Adventure travel, such as Kilimanjaro trekking with our company Kili Tanzanite Safaris Company.
5 day Marangu route
May 17, 2023by: Jakob Ko - United KingdomMy friend and I booked a trip to climb Kilimanjaro short notice. We had originally thought that we wouldn't be able to due to online information about the rainy season but found out that it was possible when we arrived. Eduu was able to quickly organise a climb that fit into our elective plans and was amazing at helping us find affordable quality rental gear (I had almost nothing as I was not expecting to climb). The route itself was day 1 to Mandara, day 2 to Horombo, day 3 to Kibu, midnight of day 3 summit with descent on day 4 to Horombo after a short nap and descent to the gate on day 5. Walking through the different terrains is wonderful and I have to recommend watching the stars at night as they were incredible. For me I found it physically doable despite the fact my last real exercise was 3 years ago and I have no real mountaineering experience. The style was "pole pole" which means slowly slowly. You walk at a glacial pace, slowing for any steep sections, which eats up the miles but leaving you feeling like you are always only slightly exerting. The altitude was a struggle for me especially on summit day where we had ascended 2000m in about 24 hours. Even with the retching and feeling generally terrible for the summit it was incredibly worth it. Our guides Mrope and Richie were amazing and I would definitely recommend them! I would also recommend asking Eduu for help understanding the tipping conventions. The whole team were lovely and I think the only thing I would change is that the food was variable, although the altitude didn't help my appetite.
My proudest achievement!
March 25, 2023by: EmilyI climbed Mt Kilimanjaro in 6 days and I successfully made it to the summit! My trip was an amazing experience. All the guides and the porters were great and so kind. We couldn’t have done it without them. The trip was so well planned and everything including airport transfers and accommodation was sorted for us. I would recommend this company to anyone!
A comfortable night at Amani hostel
November 21, 2022by: Philip Ørner - NorwayProgram: Climb Mount Kilimanjaro via Lemosho Route for 8days
Me and 3 friends stayed in at Amani hostel for 1 night. We came with plane from Zanzibar and the owner arranged a pickup at det airport. The driver drove us around in Arusha, showed us the art gallery and helped us find a good place to eat lunsh. When we arrived at the hostel the personell was really friendly, took our luggage and showed us around. The rom was clean and the beds were freshly made. We ate a nice dinner and a breakfast next morning which was on the house. When we left the hostel the owner had arranged a car for us. All in all a very nice hostel with lovely people.
