The Machame route is considered the best Kilimanjaro climbing route due to its highest summit success rate. Climbers acclimatize better at Barranco, making it easier and safer to reach the summit. Additionally, the Machame route is known for its stunning views and the scenic beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro. Opting for the Machame route offers several advantages, including a higher success rate of summiting and a better chance of acclimatization. Accommodation throughout the trek is provided in tented camps, ensuring hikers have a comfortable stay. Choosing a 7-day Kilimanjaro trek provides an added advantage, as it allows hikers to relax more at Karanga camp and prepare for the final section of the climb.

Hakuna Matata and a warm welcome to Tanzania! Get ready for the adventure of a lifetime as we travel into the heart of this stunning country to get a true taste of African culture and community enrichment. We will get to know the country like locals as we embark on a week-long cultural exchange with a local school for girls, participating in activities with them as we grow to learn about both ourselves and our new friends. Together with our host students, we will participate in community enrichment projects, such as spending time with children at a local orphanage and learning about sustainable farming techniques. As we head up north, we’ll learn how to live the rustic, African way of life as we spend our days in the bush viewing wild game and our nights camping under the clear, starry skies. Our encounters with local tribes will give us valuable insights into how people have existed in the area for thousands of years and the many ways that they continue to preserve their cultures today.

Ready for a profound cultural experience? World Unite! offers you the chance to truly live like a Maasai. This isn't a staged tourist program; it's an authentic immersion into the daily life of a Maasai village near Kilimanjaro International Airport. You'll reside in a traditional Maasai house or a provided camping tent and participate in activities like food production, savoring traditional dishes such as the unique milk-blood mixture. Your hosts, Laizer and Leronjo, are experienced local Maasai who ensure your stay is genuinely integrated and respectful of their customs. Prepare for a rustic but enriching stay: traditional houses are built from mud and dung, do not have windows or doors, and have an indoor fire for cooking and heating without a chimney. This program offers you a unique opportunity to blend with the Maasai's enduring traditions while experiencing their vibrant present. It's an unforgettable journey into one of East Africa's most well-known ethnic groups.
