Seamester is the educational adventure of a lifetime! For more than 40 years, we have offered unparalleled educational voyages where students spend a semester at sea sailing between islands, countries, and even continents. We design our programs to provide engaging learning experiences with real outcomes in ways that are impossible to replicate in the traditional classroom. Living as part of a close-knit team on an ocean-going vessel, our students learn fundamental lessons beyond academics: teamwork, leadership, and personal responsibility. They receive academic credit from the University of South Florida, along with PADI scuba certifications and IYT sailing certifications. Our programs are designed to inspire students to realize that it’s the journey, not the destination, that matters the most.

Experience the best of Western Europe on this high school exploration across Switzerland, France, and Holland. Begin in the Swiss Alps, hiking through alpine meadows, canyoning through mountain gorges, and taking in sweeping views of glaciers and peaks. Continue to Paris to immerse yourself in iconic art, architecture, cafés, and historic neighborhoods. Then set out on a multi-day bike journey through the Dutch countryside, pedaling past windmills, sand dunes, and coastal villages. Conclude your adventure in Amsterdam, exploring vibrant canals, museums, and neighborhoods while building deep cultural connections along the way.

This all-in-one semester begins with one month traveling Spain by train, followed by two months in Barcelona where you choose your pathway. You’ll build soft skills (communication, confidence, problem-solving), hard skills (Spanish, digital tools, cooking), and leadership abilities focused on positive impact. Choose one of three pathways: - The Internship Pathway offers full-time hands-on experience, real projects, and strong hours for future credit or professional goals. - The Entrepreneurship Pathway combines a part-time internship with entrepreneurship labs, mentorship, and Spanish classes, ending in a Shark Tank–style pitch. - The Special Interest Pathway lets you blend part-time internship, volunteering, and classes, or focus fully on volunteering plus Spanish or creative electives. If you want to explore Spain, improve Spanish, travel sustainably, and gain real-world experience with impact, this semester is for you. The next session dates: September 5th to November 28th, 2026 Eligibility: - 18 years old or over - Must be in good health - High school graduate with at least a 2.8 GPA - Interest in chosen pathway

The Mont-Blanc Program is designed for teens aged 14 to 16, offering the perfect mix of language learning, outdoor adventure, and cultural discovery. Located in the stunning French Alps, this program provides a unique opportunity for participants to improve their English or French skills while exploring the beauty of Megève. Language lessons are tailored to all levels and focus on practical, interactive methods to boost confidence and communication. Outside the classroom, teens enjoy a variety of thrilling activities, including hiking, mountain biking, rafting, and more. The program also encourages teamwork and leadership through group challenges and creative workshops. This international camp is ideal for teens looking to connect with peers from around the world, develop independence, and create unforgettable memories. With a focus on safety and personal growth, the Mont-Blanc Program combines education, adventure, and cultural immersion for a truly transformative experience.
