The beach life in Manuel Antonio is the epitome of the ‘Pura Vida’ way of life that Costa Rica offers, allowing you to kick back, relax, catch some waves (and some rays), and all around just enjoy life. The 5-day surf school program includes: - Bilingual, certified instructor - All surf equipment - Transportation to/from surf sites. - 2-3 hours per day of private instruction - Lounge chairs and refreshments on the beach

Global Works specializes in teen service trips and educational experiences to Costa Rica for high school and middle school students. Turtle Conservation Project – Embark on a journey to protect sea turtles. Contribute to conservation through beach cleanups, hatchery construction & nest monitoring. Learn to surf in your free time. Pura Vida Service – Create authentic bonds with local communities and contribute to meaningful service projects. Program highlights include zip-lining, whitewater rafting, and hot springs. Surf and Service – Take in breathtaking sunsets and the blue waters during a week of surf, service, and community support. Spring Break Surf and Service – The Spring Break version of our popular Surf and Service program! Young Explorers – The perfect intro for young adventurers! Welcome to La Pura Vida! Upon arrival, you are quickly struck by this small country’s natural beauty and the warmth of its people. Whether you are building a home with Urbarium or running a day camp for the children of La Carpio, you are sure to develop strong connections and have a significant influence on the communities you will be supporting. Complement your volunteering with exciting adventure activities like learning to surf and zip-lining over the forest canopy, you will return home with a love for all things Costa Rican. This program is available to students completing grades 8, 9, 10,11,12 (ages 14-18 years old). Participants can join us for 14 days or 20 days.

GoEco offers a range of enriching volunteer programs abroad, specifically designed for teenagers aged 15-17. These adventures provide a perfect blend of meaningful volunteer experiences, cultural immersion, and exciting local explorations. With a higher level of supervision, these programs are ideal for teens interested in animal welfare, conservation, or humanitarian aid. Destinations include Costa Rica, Bali, Thailand, Kenya, and Ecuador, each offering unique opportunities to contribute to local communities and ecosystems while gaining invaluable life experiences. Teen Programs and Destinations Costa Rica: Educational projects, cultural immersion, and recreational activities in a picturesque setting. Bali: Marine conservation with a focus on rehabilitating and protecting sea turtles. Thailand: Humanitarian projects combined with cultural adventures for a comprehensive experience. Kenya: Engage in climate change initiatives, wildlife conservation, and community projects. Ecuador: Work at an Amazon wildlife center, caring for various animals and supporting conservation efforts.

Our Sport Tours offer players aged 13-21 the unique opportunity of going abroad for competitive sports, community service, and adventure excursions. Depending on your level, you will compete against local high school, university, and/or club teams.
