The Bristol program allows you to study and live in a thriving modern city, only 90 minutes from London by train, and study at one of the top-rated universities in Britain and the world. You can enroll for one semester or a full year in a range of courses in a variety of disciplines at the University of Bristol. Choices include Aerospace Engineering, Archaeology, Computer Science, Drama, Geographical Sciences, Economics, Physics, Social Policy, History, Earth Sciences, English Literature, Philosophy, Politics, Pre-Med, and Sociology. You can take a combination of courses from any department in the University to fulfill major, minor, or general graduation requirements while at Bristol. We recommend that you consider taking at least one course in British Studies, such as Politics and Policy Making to make your stay more meaningful. You’ll earn up to 15 credits per semester through an internship placement and courses taken at our Global Education Center (GEC) in London. Courses are taught in English. AIFS Abroad Internship Program provides vital insight into a career field, experience in the global workplace, practical exposure to the demands of specific jobs, and the development of professional and personal skills. Placements are available in a wide range of companies and institutions in advertising, art, design, art history, fashion, international business, marketing/market research, media, journalism, politics and government, PR/communications, psychology, theater, and more. In addition to participating in the internship, students will take Contemporary British Culture and elective courses.
